There was a small sigh when he mentioned he didn't like birds and she thought of all the wondrous things her bird had taught and sung to her, she missed a lot of them. But then Sin put her hand over her mouth as if she were about to sneeze when she had realised she mentioned the age thing. She looked at him with a soft smile and suddenly looked rather embarrassed at herself. 'Should I tell him? She asked herself, almost stopping in her very slow pace of walking. She was unsure how such a man would take it, considering he wasn't a very happy man to start with.
She plucked her a little confidence and with a soft voice, which could not help but portray a women a little distressed she began to speak honestly. "The truth is, my dear, I am a lot older, and as such you start to learn things about yourself, and your species." She began to walk even slower while looking down at her hands, which were still covered with her gloves. "I will admit my handshake was not just in greeting, but I see the past of items and people when I touch them... Makes most intimate nights rather interesting."
Sin made sure to stop, she stood rather close to him to make sure her white eyes could focus on Panther and whatever reaction he may have at her words. She had to admit, although she wasn't scared of his power; as an older vampire she knew a fight would end up well where she was concerned, but she wasn't too keen on loosing her new friend to something she couldn't help but do.

"Your han...What?" It took Panther a second to process Sin's meaning. "Wait...oh..." He narrowed his eyes as it hit him and he stopped, but took a small shuffling sort of step away from the woman. It wasn't because of what she had revealed, though, but just because he didn't want to stand so close to a Vampire.
"Okay. Thanks for that," he said darkly. He didn't really appreciate the "intimate nights" comment, but he didn't mentioned it. "That's why you took your glove off, isn't it. I guess that's clever. So what, you know all about me now and what I do?" Son of a biitch, she'd known he killed their kind when she'd made that comment about her bird smelling blood on him. She better be damn good at...whatever she did, if she had this much audacity to be around him. He wondered what she'd do if he pulled out his machete right here and now and took a swing at her. She seemed to have no problem with intimacy...unless she had other tricks up her sleeve that she needed to touch him for. He'd heard that older vampires sometimes developed powers, or they grew stronger with age. Fantastic. What a little biitch.
I guess that's why she works at the club, he thought darkly. A girl had to be able to handle herself to work there safely.

Sin made sure to keep her white eyes on him, he was obviously having some trouble coming to terms with what she had done and most likely how. She felt a little bad for what she had done, as she often did and there was a slight hint of sadness in her voice. "I don't know all about your panther..." She said softly, shuffling her feet a little while she tried to come up with something to say that would not get her further in trouble. "I know you are young, try to kill your own kind and that you are often alone... It's hard to explain really, but it's my power~."
Sin felt a little nervous now, mostly because she was wondering what to do next. Run? Talk more? Think more? She sighed, she knew that there was a large amount of anger around this man now and she didn't fancy ruining what would have been a good night with him becoming violent. She looked up at him again, her pretty face looked contradicted. "Should I just leave?" Sin asked, not keen on the idea of walking home alone tonight. She bit her lip waiting for an answer, making sure to keep her wits about her now that he was feeling a little more mad.

Well, if Sin had already been feeling bad, that revelation certainly hadn't helped. There was something about this annoyingly frail looking little girl with her smug little abilities telling him that he was lonely that really rubbed him the wrong way. And what was that "try" bullshit? He'd taken down a fairly respectable amount of Vampires since he'd first taken up the "hobby." There was no trying about it, at least not nowadays. And "killing your own kind..." for a woman who knew so much about him, she sucked at talking to him.
He full-on scowled at her. "I don't know, why'd you take an offer to walk you home from a Vamp killer in the first place, if you knew?" he asked, his tone confrontational. He wasn't quite near boiling point yet. She hadn't done anything yet to make him feel actually threatened. Despite her actions, her quiet and hesitant demeanor was fairly disarming. Just in case, though, he glanced around. There was a tree nearby, nice and sturdy. Good. He could punch that if he had to.

Sin nodded, he had ever right to be angry but she had noted he hadn't tried to attack her yet, so he had a lot of kindness about him. She took a tiny step back, keeping eye contact with him before she began to talk. "Despite what I saw... I don't see any evil in you." Her words were truth, and she did see the best in people, and if a man can cope with what had happened to him why not try and befriend him, she had gone through her first years badly and would have wanted someone to talk to. She started to realise this man would most likely not want to talk about himself.
There was a small silence, where the wind picked up and even though Sin was wearing a coat she shivered, feeling more of the cold than usual. She wasn't sure if there was much else she could say, and due to her small amount of frustration at this she started to hesitate, which only made her mood seem to deteriorate. "I realise I sound a little like an idiot..." She finally stuttered, almost choking on the words, since it was hard for her to admit, but she meant it. She hated feeling like this and wanted so much just to go back to the way they had been only a few minutes ago, where she hadn't made a mistake in what she said.

That disarmed Panther a little more. It made sense from an altruistic point of view, but did that mean that she could see why he did things, and not just that he did them...? How much did she know? What else was she lying about? He didn't like this uncertainty...
"You're not," he muttered in a half-automatic reassurance. "I don't see why being evil matters." Evil. What a weird word to hear outside a sermon. It was like some mythological word that pertained to ideological things. But to be used to practically...
"I murder people. I kill our kind. That certainly doesn't make me good," he said. "And even if I'm not evil, why would that make me safe? Did you see what made me become a Vampire?" Did you see what made me lose everything? Did she see his anger, his bestial rage that had taken him from his family, had taken everything from him? If that wasn't evil at its more pure, then what was?

Something in Panther's words had hurt Sin a little. Her mood didn't darken but she no longer wanted to argue, she had seen how he became what he was, and what had happened in his rage, but she knew more about rage than anyone would have guessed. She had seen her fair share of rage and even though she was calm now, it hadn't always been that way."Panther... Sin is not just a name. I've seen my fair few of them and I've seen what they do to people." There was something sad in her voice as she spoke this and she gave a soft sad smile, trying to make things a little more cheery. "Good people feel bad, regret things. Would you feel bad about whatever you have done if you weren't a good man?"
Sin turned, watching some leaves blow very close in the wind past her face and she started to walk, at her very slow pace. She wondered this time if Panther would follow, or watch her walk off into the dark. Was he a curious person as she was, would he want to know more about her or was he happy enough to let her go. She wanted to talk more but she knew it was up to him.

Panther scowled. He did not want to be in an argument over morals with some cutsy little Vampire who wore an undersized top hat for kicks and toted around a hopping raven as a pet.
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked as she started walking away. "I'm not done with you." He followed after her, jogging a step to catch up. "How do you even know how I feel about those things. Y'know, how much to you actually know about me? How much could you possibly have gotten from one little handshake?"
She hadn't answered his question about his anger. He didn't miss that. But what did feeling bad have to do with anything? He killed. He felt bad. He killed again. He broke things in anger. He felt bad. But he did it again anyway. What, "evil" was erased by guilt, no matter how many times something happened that he couldn't control?
Damn. Maybe he did want to get into a battle of ethics with her. It wasn't like he could talk about these things with other people...

Sin couldn't help but smile, he had indeed decided to follow her and this gave her some sort of joy. She turned to him, still walking slowly and she put her hand to her mouth, chewing a little on one of the gloved fingers. She contemplated for a second whilst looking at her hand carefully, as if studying the lines that had formed on them through time. "I don't know for sure how you feel, my power doesn't tell me that... But reading your actions tells me. I see pictures, small videos, my mind plays what it thinks is important. I'd be able to see your whole life from birth to the present in a few minutes if I had contact for that long, and even longer contact could help me feel as you did." Sin took a deep breath, trying to stop herself from getting overly excited about talking about her powers to Panther.
She hadn't talked to someone like this since she had been with her other 'sins' who she missed so dearly. She was struggling to contain herself and thought since her house was so close, she would stop walking all together and sit, exactly where she had stopped, even though the grass was cold she didn't feel like walking to a bench. Sin looked up at Panther and wondered if he would also sit, which she guessed if he did, he wouldn't sit too close.
"Since I leaned so much about you, it's only fair that I answer your questions honestly, so please, ask away~" She smiled, she hoped this would be a long night.

Panther's scowl didn't go away when he stopped and looked down at his new "friend" who had spontaneously decided she was sick of walking.
"Why'd you sit down, I'm not standing out here all night with you," he said. What other questions did she expect him to have? She was pretty straightforward about it. He didn't like that she just knew all these things. How could she know his regret? How could she possibly figure out from repeated bar trips and prostitutes that he felt anything at all?
He sighed and ran his right hand down the side of his face, looking around at the clear nightscape. "Aright, aright...So what, you're just okay with me taking down normal people? I mean, it's not like most of us consider these Vampires to be doing anything wrong..." He looked down at her, and gestured at her with the same hand as he continued. "I mean, I could come after you some day. You're old, I'on't know what you've done, your record probably isn't spotless...and neither is mine... "
He didn't know what he wanted to talk about. He wanted to talk about himself, as selfish as that was, but he'd never really told this kind of thing to anyone that wasn't behind a fancy mesh screen in a confessional before. But half of him wanted to talk about what he did, and the other half wanted to talk about why he did it. And the third nonexistent half kind of wanted to know about her, but that half was okay waiting for the other two halves to stop fighting.
He wanted to know what she knew, though. What exactly did she know, did she know about his wife or just about since he was on his own. Did she know how he'd been stolen from his family, did she know about Maxim...Christ, she probably knew Maxim in person, panther had seen the butt in the Laughing Villain before.
There were too many questions. He had half a mind to just drop himself right next to her. But he didn't. This wasn't a picnic.

Sin had been pleased he hadn't sat right away, it gave her a chance to tap the ground, with a look as if she was saying 'please' with her eyes. "If we walk any further my house will come into sight and I'll be forced to invite you in! And I'm not sure I can have a vampire hunter know where I live yet!" Sin winked, to show that she wasn't COMPLETELY serious about her comment, but there was a small element of truth in it. "As unclean as my record may or may not be, if you do come after me, I'd be sad~ But I don't consider vampires to be doing wrong unless they kill! I mean, you can have a drink without killing, and I get REALLY annoyed about this whole slave thing." Sin admitted, not really sure where this sudden burst of small rage had come from as she spoke, but she calmed herself, looking back up at Panther.
Sin wanted the man to talk, but more than that she wanted the man to be honest (since this was important to her) and she decided the only way to make the man do this was to ask. "Panther? Tell me about your sire?" She had to admit to herself, she hadn't seen much of this part of his history, as often people tried to hide the worst parts of it and it came across when she touched them. She was curious, the way he felt about vampires he must have had a bad experience. She wanted to know just how it had happened, to see if she had found someone like herself, someone who was abandoned and hurt by a person they trusted so much.

"My...? Oh." With a reluctant sigh, Panther sat down cross-legged, but not next to Sin. Rather, he sat opposite her a few feet away, so he could face her.
It made sense, her house was nearby and and she didn't want him to know where she lived. Must be nice, living so close to the park. Decent part of town. Not like the slum he lived in. She also had a decent job, though, steady income. Maybe he should try that sometime.
He kind of found it ironic that here she was telling him that he wasn't evil, but the only wrong thing a Vampire could do was kill. Wasn't that what he did? He knew that she meant killing their blood victims, but still. Killing is killing. He didn't get a chance to point it out though, because she apparently wanted to talk about his past. Why? He was the one interested in her, why did she give a damn about him?
"Why don't you tell me what you found out first, and we'll go from there?" he asked. Seemed like a decent place to start. He'd build on what she knew. If she knew anything at all. And it would give him a chance to collect his thoughts and figure out what to tell her. He didn't have much of a recollection of those times. A lot of those memories had been blocked out or repressed or whatever minds did to keep themselves sane through that kind of shit.

Sin smiled and watched him sit, happy that he had decided to and made sure to keep her eyes on him. Eventually, after some silence she closed her eyes, letting the images she saw earlier that night, each one she took her time over. She saw kidnapping, she saw being held against his will be she couldn't see much about that period of his life. Panther obviously would rather not remember these things and she then opened her eyes again. "I saw you being taken... and held against your will, but I'm not sure anything about what I saw in that part of your history. There's a lot of anger and fear there, and i didn't see much else." Sin said these words sadly, and she felt a little something in side her chest shift, wanting to feel a little better.
She looked at Panther, as if she were trying to look into his soul with such large eyes. She didn't want to say much else, she didn't have anything else to say. She wondered if he would be honest about his past, and wondered even more if he would even remember the person or persons who turned him.

Panther looked away as Sin tried to make eye contact with him. Again, why was it so interesting. What did it matter. Was she looking for a connection? Someone to pity? Someone to be pitied by? She didn't seem to have a problem with what she was. Not like him. She'd obviously gotten used to it, if she was so very old.
He rubbed his eyes with his left hand, and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. "My sire...I guess he was a fair guy. I mean...there were worse." His cousin's leering brown eyes danced behind his lids, and Panther chased them away by looking down at the dark grass. He lowered his hand to his knee. Why was he telling her this. He looked up at her despite her unnerving gaze.
"I only knew him for two years. He's still out there somewhere. I don't actually remember his name, and he wasn't the leader of the...I guess the pack I was in. Whatever a group of Vampires is called. A club or something. Coven, I don't know...The little community of them. He wasn't a real big influence on me, he was just the...the one who'd gone longest without feeding."
He suddenly felt sick, and physically winced, a hand drifting over his stomach. So many arms, so many strong hands, holding him down, against the floor, the pale, leering eyes and fangs and skin...He swallowed hard as the physical memory of a scream cut short by fangs crushing his windpipe resurfaced, and he rubbed his neck.
"Look, I'm sorry, I can't talk about that." He rubbed his jugular hard. "It wasn't fun, and it wasn't by choice. I don't want to talk about them. It doesn't matter, it's not who I am now and it's not what made me me. I got outta there, they left me alone for a while, I didn't harbor 'em any ill will. What are you tryin' t'get at, Sin? It was just a dark time, I don't even remember a lot of it. Probably why you didn't get a lot from it. It's fuzzy even to me. Just a lot of force-feeding and people trying a bunch of different methods to get me to join 'em."
He really didn't feel well, though. And his neck itched. He swallowed hard again. Was it really that difficult just to remember what he'd been through? He never thought about it. Ever. Maybe that was why. Thinking too hard about it would make him actually hurl. He didn't doubt this. Not with the way he felt now.

Sin listened to each and every word Panther said, taking each one of them and adding images she made in her head to the ones she had already seen after touching him. She wanted to lean forwards and place a gloved hand on his shoulder, she wanted to comfort him somehow but decided it wasn't exactly the right time for it. She was amazed how Panther had stayed so calm, her own experience with a sire had been traumatic enough and she had gone practically insane, and here he was, being strong and only wanting a small amount of 'revenge' as she would have called it.
"Sorry..." Sin whispered, feeling a little ashamed for making a man remember things that were obviously distressing. She just wanted to know more, her curiosity was well known where she worked and it was infamous in the times of her 'mad days' where she used to find out more about her victims for hours before finally killing them. She shuffled a little closer to Panther, very innocently and in no way threatening."I've known a few vampires," She said, in a rather matter of fact way, thinking about a few that she had met in her travels. "Most who are turned against their will go mad... Start killing anything and everything; Or hide themselves away for years until they can't remember how to even speak..." She herself, doing both of these things at one point or another, but she didn't want to say it was her.
