Lora didn’t feel comfortable in this situation. She didn’t know why King was so angry, it was probably because of the commotion that had been caused, but she didn’t know what to do about that. She hadn’t intended for Seamus to break the glass and run off with her. She hadn’t meant for any of this to happen. Lora just wanted to see Seamus before he left because she wanted to make sure that he was all right and being taken care of.
As she was handed the small pouch of money, she didn’t know how to respond to this. She wasn’t going to go spend his money without a care and what he said wasn’t right. What did he even mean by that? Why were they even here, she had yet to find that out. As King started to walk away, an evident scowl on his face, she noticed how Seamus seemed anxious and nervous to the man’s leaving. She picked up on something that she wouldn’t mention to the boy, but she noticed in that moment that he cared very deeply for King. Maybe he had a crush on King.
Stepping back a bit, still in the vicinity in case King were to explode with anger on the boy, she looked at the sellers, still holding the bag of money and waiting for the two to finish their private conversation. It was rude to eavesdrop on someone’s conversation. However, Lora did feel a little awkward standing behind the pair with a bag of money in her hands and her hair dripping on the floor. She would wait until they were done. After they were finished, she would give the bag back to King and tell him what she had meant. She hadn’t meant that she wanted to buy a drink. She had meant that they leave now and go somewhere to get something. She had meant his house or something. Somewhere that Seamus wouldn’t feel anxious, giddy and afraid. Lora could wait a little longer to get something to drink. It wasn’t as bad as Seamus had thought it to be.

As hard as King may have tried to stay angry, looking into those large green eyes softened his heart, and it was no longer easy for him to stay in a mood. His expression couldn't help but soften as he looked at Seamus and for a second, he looked almost sorry for yelling, nit that second passed rather quickly. He turned away, making sure to look at something in the distance. He sighed, having both Seamus and a small cat seep into his emotional state. "I was going home Seamus... You can come with Lora when you have what you need." His words were soft and almost sorrowful as he looked at Seamus and Lora in turn, making sure to make his yellow eyes stern once more.
King wasn't sure what was having such a power over him but he didn't like it and taking a small breath he gestured to them both to come closer with a heavy heart. "I expect you both to repay me for such a favour you know." He smiled, trying to sound uplifted once more and the normal, flirting man he usually was. "I'll come with you both if you would rather, but tell me now~" It had only taken minutes but he appeared to be back to his normal self, though King knew inside he wasn't, something had worried him far too much. |

He smiled softly wrapping his arms round his master's neck and kissing the courner of his mouth. Not brave enough to directly kiss him. He nuzzled softly. "Stay...please." He pouted softly. " We can go do something fun together..." He pictured going to the beach with eachother and Arcarus sunbathing in the sand watching as the two played in the shallows. Or the group could wonder the town. "I've never seen the town before really...." He nuzzled closer glad Arcarus wasn't made but wanted to make the man happier even more.

Lora wasn’t listening to their conversation. She had noticed her old seller and how bewildered he was about the whole incident. He looked at her, their eyes meeting before he shook his head and turned, spitting on the ground. Lora didn’t know why the seller hadn’t come after her, but she had an idea as to why he didn’t come claim his merchandise. If her hunch was right, that meant that she had a master now. King obviously had to be her master, meaning that they had come here today to come get her. Lora now understood why King would say that he was only good for his money. She felt bad about this now. That hadn’t been her intentions at all.
As King mentioned repaying him, she could only smirk. She knew that he was still hurt about what had happened, but he was acting normal so that Seamus wouldn’t be sad or worried about him. She would have to make her intentions clear to King, that she only saw Seamus as a brother she never had. Since they both came from the water, she had made a kinship with the boy and didn’t intend on anything further than a sibling relationship with the boy.
Lora smiled to the two of them, now that they had made up; she walked over to them and handed the bag of money back to King. “Thanks for the money, but I didn’t need it. So, where are we going?” her hands were behind her head as she stretched. As soon as they hit some air conditioning or something that wasn’t as humid as the trading rings, producing water wouldn’t be that hard and there would be nothing to worry about. “Oh, I guess you’ve noticed, but I like water. I’m a mermaid or nixie. Nice to meet you King.” She held her hand out to her new master, smiling wide, hoping to make amends to any kind of misunderstanding she may have given him.

King smiled at the kiss and playfully pushed the boy off, obviously feeling rather better about the whole situation. He wasn't used to such attention from the small boy and thought that he must be a lot more confident with his new servant here. It was then that King looked at Lora, and her hand, he was a little nervous about shaking it, mostly because she was slightly wet, and it put him off but like a gentleman he took it, giving her hand a very gentle kiss. "I noticed~" His words were sarcastic, and they had a slight growl within them. He then pondered for a minute or two, they were both water creatures, and he was going to have to make his house more wet.
King shivered at the thought and the small cat in his coat climbed out of it and onto his shoulder, purring while rubbing herself against his face for comfort. He smiled at her, feeling a lot better now she was here and ha gave a slight sigh. "We should go to the beach..." He admitted, rather defeated by all the very innocent looking people staring at him. He pointed off into the distance and pushed both Lora and Seamus in that direction gently. "It's that way, you two go ahead and I'll follow."
Secretly, King didn't really want to go, but he thought about the two of them splashing around in water and how happy they would look. He smiled to himself, walking slowly in the direction he had pushed the two.

Shay pouted slightly when he kissed Lora's hand. He couldn't help but be a little jealous though he shouldn't of been. After all he didn't own Arcarus. With a sigh he walked ahead following signs to the beach kinder out of it.
He needed to sort his head out. There was no point in hoping for something that would never happen. Arcarus wasn't the commitment type he didn't even show much intrest in Seamus bar the odd teasing flirt. He shoved his hands deep in his jeans and watched as the shore line got closer.

She had to admit that she didn’t like the sarcasm. She was just trying to fix any problems that had been created. There was no reason to be sarcastic about what she was. Or maybe it was because it was obvious that he would have noticed. As he kissed her hand, she smiled to him. For a master, he was still so much like a gentleman. She couldn’t wait to get used to living with them.
Lora was surprised as a small cat crawled out of King’s jacket and onto his shoulder. She knew that he was a feline shifter, however, was this cat his child or something? She had no idea how shifters worked or operated. Since they were half human and half animal, were their children born as animals or humans? She wouldn’t dare ask him about it, which would be rude, especially since she would be assuming something that may not even be possible.
As they were told to go ahead without him and that he would catch up, Lora noticed the change in Seamus’ behaviour. Glancing down to the boy, she couldn’t help but feel the need to do something to help his mood. “Hey, I told you we’d meet again, didn’t I?” she smiled down to him, wrapping her arm around his shoulders. She’d never had a sibling before; she wanted to teach him everything she could about the ocean. She still never knew if he’d ever been in the ocean before. “When we get in the water, I can give you your scale. And don’t worry, it’s alright to take it. If you don’t, it might be kind of rude.”
She gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze, glancing over her shoulder for where King was. She looked ahead and noticed the beach coming up in front of them. Thankfully, it was a rather warm and sunny day, which would make her appreciate the water all that much more. It was also good that her seller had her in a rag dress and underwear. Now she wouldn’t have to go in without her modesty being covered.
Nudging Seamus gently, she smirked to him. Like a sibling, it was time to tease him a bit about his apparent crush. “So, I’ve noticed that you have a crush on King . . .” she let the sentence hang, a wide grin on her face as she waited for his reply.

King stayed far enough behind them not to intrude, but his acute hearing made it easy to listen to what the two in front of him where saying, it made him smirk slightly that Lora would say this and as he turned his head slightly to pester the small cat on his shoulder she mewed at him, being ever so cute. He chuckled, he may have had no idea what she was saying, not in this form, but he knew she could hear what the two were talking about too.
He sighed a little, seeing the sea coming over the horizon. It made him shiver, all that water worried him far too much and he reminded himself that he couldn't swim, at all!. |

Choking midstep, Shay went so red he matched his hair. "I..I don't!!" He squeaked his voice hitting a high pitch that sounded female. His hands flew up to hide his face as he whimpered slightly. He wanted to look back to see if Arcarus was listening but he was fearful of the answer and reaction.

Lora couldn’t help but laugh at his reaction. It was obvious that he did and it was adorable. It was nice that he had found someone that he had feelings for. Even if nothing ever became of it, at least he’d already have a crush. Rustling his hair playfully, Lora just shook her head. She knew that King would clearly have heard them and based on his nervousness in answering, it would be obvious to the man that Shay liked him. “Hey, no reason to be embarrassed. It’s all good.”
Lora felt the sand under her bare feet and a squeal came from her lips. “Race you!” She give him a playful push and took off towards the water, slipping her underwear off from under her dress, she raced into the water, enjoying the refreshing feeling against her body. Immediately, a glowing surrounded her legs and it visibly changed from skin to scales. Even from a distance, people would notice the bright glow and be able to see the change even through the waves. The gills on the side of her neck became more noticeable as well as the webbed portion to her hands. There was a popping of her fins appearing, which looked painful, and was the final movement that told her she was fully back to her true form. Swimming closer to the shore, still in the water, she looked around for where Seamus had gone off to. Did he beat her to the water?

King was grinning like an idiot, of course he had heard, and he wasn't going to let it slip, he would remember this for when Seamus and Lora were FAR away from the water. Iuri, the small cat, carefully crawled down her masters body and pawed at the sand carefully, she hadn't been on the beach before and wasn't sure if she liked it. King laughed, following the small cat as she found a space for them to sit on beach. He removed his coat, throwing it down as a place to sit, and he felt the sand beneath his fingers. It was warm, and it felt very strange to him, but a good sort of strange.
It wasn't long before King had taking off his shoes and his shirt, so that he was only wearing his rather smart trousers and he picked the small cat up off the beach, holding her to him very gently. He kept her close for comfort, the idea of being this close to water wasn't pleasant for him and he needing something to keep him calm. He wondered what Nico would have thought about this, he would most likely be laughing at him right now. |

Shay hadn't ran off with lora. He was removing his shoes and socks before digging into his bag. Pulling out a factor 50 suncream he smiled glad he was prepared before removing his jeans revealing green swim trunks under it and his hoodie.
He started to rub the lotion into his arms, chest and legs before struggling to reach his back. He gave a whine before shyly looking to king. "Um..master....could you help me?" He asked shyly.

Lora looked out towards the beach and saw Seamus and Arcarus in the sand. Looking back to the water and her tail, she wanted to get out, feeling odd for running off without Shay, but not wanting to transform just to get back in the water right afterwards. She would wait for Shay when he was done. Hopefully, it wouldn’t take too long.
In the mean time, she swam around the area, her tail coming up out of the water every now and then when she would try to do fancy tricks and quick spins. Splashing around a bit, she couldn’t believe how good the water felt right now. She hadn’t realised how much she had missed being in the water. It felt nice to be somewhere that felt like home. Then again, she always felt like she was home when she was in any form of water.
Swimming back up to the beach, she laid herself down on the sand, the waves washing over her body as she waited in the shallow water. Her tail came up, resting like her feet would when lying on her stomach as she watched the exchange between the two with a smirk on her face. Seamus so had a crush on King that it wasn’t even funny. Too bad her scales couldn’t grant any wishes to make people love one another. But Seamus wouldn’t need it, she knew that Arcarus had feelings for Shay as well. She could just tell. “Hurry up slow pokes,” she laughed, slapping her tail against the water before resting it above her head again.

King smirked at Seamus and beckoned him over, taking the sun cream and placing it on his own hands before sniffing it. He wasn't sure what it reminded him of but the small cat in his lap licked at it before hissing which made him chuckle. King made sure to pull Seamus closer to him and then started to carefully rub the suncream into his back, making sure to teasingly let his fingers run gently down under the swim shorts a little, just making sure he was covering everyone. He gave a smirk, leaning a little closer, so that he could whisper into Seamus' ear to tease him, "You go and play in the water~"
There was a small snigger in King's words and he let his hands play over Seamus' shoulders a little more. "But when we get home you are going to admit you do like me~" He growled in a seductive voice that he usually kept for getting men and women into bed with him. There was a slight pause and King gently kissed Seamus' ear, making sure that Lora was watching he gave her a wink to show he was flirting with his property. He gave the boy in front a small quick tap on his back, to show he had finished the sun cream and shifted him off, "Go on, you better get in the sea." And with that, King picked up his small kitten again and petted her gently. |

Shay gasped and shivered as the warm hands soothed over his skin. A small moan escaping him when the fingers rubbed over the small of his back. He blushed bright red and covered his lips praying the sound had been missed but he couldn't stop the shiver of excitment when Arcarus whispered in his ear. Damn him.... He taught as he shifted. Cool it shay...you do not want a tent.... He let out a shocked gasp as king kissed his ear making the promise in his ear in that oh so seductive voice. He gritted his teeth and ran to the sea trying to get his mind off it.
The cold water hit him and he had never felt better. God this beat the bathtub so much. He dived in and his eyes fluttered open looking for Lora. In a glitter of scales he swam like a pro towards her.
