[Species]
Species Description:
Leprechauns are a sort of creature that have inhabited Ireland for centuries, even before the arrival of the Celts. They are always male, and tend to be very solitary creatures—they rarely associate with one another, because they will begin to desire the gold of another. And well, they are known for being a bit rowdy and obnoxious--it's best not to get a group of them together. They are known to hoard all sorts of treasures, and covet any sort of valuable object, although gold is what they desire most.
Leprechauns enjoy playing tricks on humans, usually speaking in riddles and causing mischief. And everything is done in secret, because being caught risks them losing their gold. When caught, they will usually try to bribe others with a cold coin, which will usually turn to dust after the Leprechaun’s freedom, or they will offer to grant three wishes. They are very vulnerable when caught, because they are forced to stay in close radius to the captor. But, you must be careful, because once you let your guard down; the Leprechaun will disappear, which makes them very hard to catch and keep. And no, rainbows have nothing to do with it, besides the fact that they seem to have an odd fascination with them.
Contrary to popular belief, they do not all resemble old men with long beards. Nor, do they wear green. They have also resembled humans, merely as a better form of camouflage. They are also very talented in the art of music, born with the ability to play various instruments. Although this seems to be quite a feat since most of them are very fond of any sort of alcohol, and can usually be found intoxicated. They are very good natured people, although they can become livid when someone touches their treasures—they will begin to create havoc for that person, and will do everything in their power to get it back. They never forget when someone crosses them.

Eoin is physically striking, but not in the typical way. He has midnight black hair that clashes with porcelain skin, and then has alluring blue eyes. It seems to all be a contradiction, but it makes him look otherworldly or ethereal. His most distinguishing feature would be the abnormally large ears that jut out from his head. They are almost comically, but they somehow fit his face. Eoin also has very plump lips, almost feminine, and that make him look impish when he smiles. His features are not rough and rugged, but more angular and soft.
He is very thin—his body is more angles, more lithe. He does not have much muscle, or definition—he is not one like all those meatheads running around. He has very long limbs, and very knobby elbows, but he is not unpleasant to look at. He also has very long, elegant fingers, perfect for playing the piano. Eoin can usually be seen wearing normal, modern clothing. He has a penchant for neck wear though, and is usually seen wearing some sort of scarf or neckerchief.

Eoin has the typical leprechaun personality—he is very mischievous and clever, loving to wreak a little havoc on the world. He never does anything dangerous or inhumane; he does not think its good form. There is no point in crushing someone’s spirit in his eyes, but making them a little frustrated is quite enjoyable. He loves to speak in riddles, quotes, and questions, mostly because he likes to mess with people, likes to see their reactions. He usually answers a question with a question. Mostly because he doesn’t want to talk about himself, he doesn’t want to be cornered, so he easily slips past the serious. Eoin hates being serious—he is usually always good natured and sarcastic, never showing any sort of true irritation or anger. And he knows it absolutely bothers others, because he doesn’t react, because he always has a smile on his lips.
He has a fondness for booze. That is not an unknown fact. He can be found in the middle of a club, swinging his hips, and a song on his lips. Or, perhaps in a small bar, keeping to him or swapping stories. Either way, he always has a drink in his hands. And he honestly doesn’t care what people think about him, most of them are little humans anyway. And he really doesn’t hold rules in high regards—he does what he wants, takes what he wants. He just wants to have fun, wants to experience life. He has been around for awhile and is still craving more. This sometimes makes him slip, makes him easily caught.
Eoin is also very blunt. He says what he thinks. Even if it is riddled in a puzzle. He is very opinionated and doesn’t mind being boisterous. And if he has to, he won’t mind being belligerent, won’t mind being a bit hostile, even if it is in covered in a friendly demeanor. He absolutely hates physical confrontation, because he was given the short end of the stick, but he will still push and push, until the other person tips over the edge And, he is quite self conscious about his ears, but will never, ever admit it.

Detailed History: (Quality rather than Quantity)
It’s very rare that a leprechaun will ever find a soul mate. They tend to isolate themselves; tend to not be able to stay around others for awhile--maybe because they are too manipulative, or maybe because they end up fighting. But, somehow, his father had bagged himself a human girl. It is said that she had beat him at his own game, had outsmarted him. And, that had humbled him. How could he get rid of someone so interesting? And, since the leprechaun gene is dominant, their bouncy baby boy was a born and bred leprechaun.
Eoin had an average childhood—he was a little criminal early on. He learned to steal, learned to lie, and learned to manipulate. And his parents never once scolded him, because that was the leprechaun way. Once he was considered old enough, his father left, just disappeared into thin air. It was practically tradition, one his mother would never understand, and still harbored so much anger. So, Eoin stayed with his mother, taking care of her, and being a basically good boy. But, as the years passed, he noticed his mother had started to gray, started to wither. He was there on her death bed, his own face frozen in time.
He felt a sense of freedom, and sadness with her passing. He decided to leave Ireland, to leave the shores he had called home. He wanted some excitement, didn’t want the same boring life he once had. And he went all out throughout the ages, causing little mischief here and there. Eoin like to affect history, like to tweak a few things to see how it panned out. But, he stopped messing with high authority figures when he ended up causing tensions, almost on the brink of war. And although it was funny that the two of them were bickering like children, but he didn’t want his comfortable world changing, at least not too much.
Nowadays, he was in a cage. He was caught one day, and couldn’t smooth talk, or bribe his way out of it. The man coveted his treasures, his powers. But, when he found out there wasn’t an infinite amount of wishes, and not exactly someone who could be broken in, and decided that he would get rid of the charming little bastard.
