Species Description:

A cherub is a type of fae folk pale in complexion, weak in appearance, and very smart. They are like angels in the respect that they have small wings on their back, not large at all they appear to be very fragile and at times even broken, being bent at odd angles. For centuries the cherubim have watched over mankind and walked beside them as tricksters and cautious spirits. They often liked to toy with humans and come to them in dreams and visions, pretending to be gods and goddesses. Like shifters they can morph into two forms, a human form and their true form, similar to a griffin (a creature based off of their design) of being half lion half eagle, or even other various combination of two animals (though this is rare.) They pride themselves in their vast knowledge and ability to see into the future and don’t take kindly to ego blows. The cherubim sometimes act as bodyguards to humans they become attached to, following them and protecting them from roaming creatures and spirits, their power hidden by a fragile frame.

Cherubim are immortal, being creatures of nature born of water. The Cherubim are born only under the waterfalls of pure untouched land under the full moon, and only in the cool months of autumn when the colors of the leaves fall and touch them, invoking the spark of life that begins their journey into time. The Cherubim are characterized by their thirst for knowledge and short tempers, especially since their kind has been enslaved to serve the humans they once protected. Since not many places are left pure anymore the cherub race is a rare and dying one since no new cherubim are being born. The cherubim can have children, but only with humans and demons. Breeding with a human will create a much weaker cherub who will be weaker in appearance, but breeding with a demon will create a sub-species of cherub that have ashen gray wings and black eyes, with a fiery temperament and manipulative personality.

Cherubim have an intense ability to connect and sense other Cherubim, so when another Cherubim is killed or dies those alive will utter a horrible scream of pain for their loss. Also, when impregnated a cherubim only carries for 3 months before giving birth.

Overall Appearance:

Euria is a petite girl of average height with pale smooth skin. Her dark hair is long and silky, brushed to the side of her face and flowing down her back. She had a nice curvy figure with a nicely shaped bust and flat tummy, her hips molded and thighs plump. Her brown eyes are framed by dark lashes and her lips are light pink and plump, always with a mischievous quirk that upturns the corners of her lips. When she's angry her eyes turn black and her lips swell, turning them a dark pink.

She was used to wearing flowing ancient egyptian and greek style gowns, but once she was captured she was put in shorts and tank tops, which she's grown not to hate. Though she still despises bras and complains about them constantly.

Overall Personality:

Euria is a playful spirit who loves to play tricks on humans, or did. She likes to be free in open air and usually isn't one to be very loud, appreciating what is around her in a stunned silence. Though her laugh is soft and sweet her pride often get's in the way of things that truly make her laugh without wrongful cause. She loves to follow people around and is like a kitten in the way that she loves to be pet and coddled, and that is her main weakness.

She is by no means tame, her pride and massive ego don't allow her to take anything from anyone and she is prone to lash out, verbally and if it calls for it physically as well. She's very guarded and can't take a compliment, the walls around her heart and emotions strong to keep her fragile inner self protected. She fears being abandoned and alone most of the time, though her ego won't let her admit it. Most of the time all she wants is to be held, but she dares not ask such a thing of anyone.

Detailed History:

Euria is an ancient Cherubim, and she was old even in the time of the ancient egyptians. She was one of the Cherubim responsible for their religion, coming to egyptian priests in a dream as Isis, the wife of Osiris. Though her and the ones she helped with this laughed and laughed they floated their way through history, sparking new religions and even wars, sitting back and staring in a high safe place as the humans repeatedly slew each other with no mercy,laughing at their stupidity. With every war and every single human that died or was manipulated by them their ego's grew and their pride at one point was nearly indestructible. That ended violently. Since there is no concept of time for the Cherubim when the traders started popping up around the 1700s and the inhuman underground popped up they were being picked off one by one,stolen and sold as trophies and pets.

Soon less and less Cherubim existed, becoming a rare species as mankind expanded their land in greed. Euria was caught rather quickly,drawn in by the promise of manipulating another human before captures and assaulted, beaten to be kept quiet and put in chains. She remains caged angrily,shifting every so often to her true form to invoke fear, which typically results in her being electrocuted to calm her down.
