So far, this was taking longer than he expected. It was Friday night that Abstynencja had engaged in intercourse with Belial. He’d stayed at Belial’s house because it was easy to feed from his neighbours, who, always seemed to be sexually frustrated. However, what Abby hadn’t expected was that it would take this long to be completely fed. He’d never engaged in intercourse before, he’d had no idea how long it would take him to finally be full. It was now Monday and he’d also had to call the school to let them know that he wouldn’t be in today. He was sure that his class wouldn’t be that disappointed. He knew that substitute teachers meant no work in class and a movie most likely. The substitute teachers were never able to get the class to do their assigned work anyways; there was really no point in giving them any work to hand out.
Abby did have to wonder where Belial had gone off to. It wasn’t that he was lonely or was suddenly attached to the mara, more as if he was just curious. Belial had mentioned that he went out during the day to meet up with friends as well as feed his addictions. Abstynencja had to wonder if Belial scared everyone he met half-to-death and then had intercourse with them. Maybe it was just because intercourse was his biggest fear he wasn’t sure.
Abby swung his legs over the side of the bed and tried to stand up. He’d tried to stand up earlier yesterday, had gotten himself dizzy, and fell to the floor. Of course, Belial hadn’t been there to see his embarrassing moment, but he knew that wasn’t a good sign. He shouldn’t be dizzy after two days off feeding. How long would it take him to be full? Maybe if he were able to have contact with someone that was sexually frustrated, that might help. Abby had always needed to feed from a distance since it would be strange to ask if he could touch someone because they were sexually frustrated. However, direct contact was always the best way to feed. Demons were able to feed from a person’s emotions so much easier when they had some form of contact. Although, he didn’t have to have the contact to feed, it may help him some more. Abby noted that he didn't look as pale as he did a few days ago. He wouldn't be able to walk around without looking like a ghost yet, but he wasn't as pale as before.
Walking into the kitchen, Abby noticed that it was close enough to dinnertime. He didn’t know if Belial actually ate food or not, but it wouldn’t go to waste if he made enough for the mara. If Belial didn’t eat it then he could always put it away and heat it up later. Taking out some food, Abby started to cook some chicken in a frying pan, cutting up some vegetables and adding them to give flavour to the stir-fry he was currently making. Stir-fry was easy and fast to make, it served a lot of people and it could be served with almost anything.
Glancing at the clock, Abstynencja wondered what time Belial would be back today.

Guys, this thread isn't the alternate universe one... Abby is still resting at Belial's house and Belial invites Reikas over for dinner as a friend, giving the idea that they'd be having sex, making him frustrated and thus feeding Abby lol and then we have more "fun"

It had been a horribly long day for the poor mara and it was only going to be longer. The rest of his furniture had arrived and though most of it was small and all personal it made no help to his mood. Belial had forgotten a lot of the small items from his house in France and seeing some of the photographs and nicknacks from his travels gave him a sense of longing for the past. He sighed, hand still on the doorknob to his house. He had left the house surprisingly early and though he had put on a brave face for Abby, he wondered just how he was going to carry it on now. With a slight twitch of his wings he opened the door putting on a grin and sticking a cigarette in it he looked around his hallway. "Honey! I'm home!" He churped, lighting the fag in his mouth rather quickly to get his nicotine intake to the right amount before later that night. He glanced at his living room table, giving a slight glare to one of the old looking photographs still placed there then headed to the kitchen where he could hear Abby.
He leaned against the door frame of the kitchen and smoked hoping the alarm wouldn't go off this time. He'd made sure since he did it the first time he took the battery out of the damn thing as often as he could and this time was no exception. "Still feeling a little weak?" He questioned, feeling a little concerned for the poor man he had assaulted. Then, like a flash of lightening he remembered just what he had done while he was out. "Oh! I invited a friend over! He's the most sexually frustrated man I know... or will be when I tell him he can't have sex with me while you're here~" He chuckled to himself, ah yes, that would defiantly make him feel better; seeing the look of pure hatred on Reikas face when he found out about such an evil plan. It would serve him right for saying he liked to be teased.

Belial couldn't have come by at a more perfect time. Irina was out of town for the entire weekend and had left Reikas alone at his own half-shameful request. He'd been longing for Belial to contact him for days now; the last memory he had of the mara was the only memory he had of him, that blissful not-quite-even-a-day and the promises of more to come later. It had actually affected him quite shamefully in the interim. Between yearning for those chilling eyes again and raging that Belial had left him no contact information, he had been slave to his impatience. And the duffel bag full of fun under his bed hadn't helped in the least bit.
But then Belial had dropped by earlier that afternoon and given him the address and invited him over. He'd almost convinced the mara to stick around the manor instead but Belial seemed to be having none of it. He'd had this aura of mystique around him, like he was hiding a delicious little secret, and hadn't stayed long. Just dropped by to hand Reikas a piece of paper with a street name and number on it, told him to come by that night, and left.
Reikas had already memorized it. He knew where it was already; he was familiar with that part of town. He'd spent the entire rest of the day remarkably like a woman preparing for a first date, trying on every article of clothing Irina had bought him in every combination possible, angsting over his hair and how to wear it, scrubbing every part of his already-spotless body in the shower, and tearing himself apart over which toys to bring and which to leave home. He must have bought somewhere around eight different types of lubrication, each with its own special twist on love-making. Some were warming, some tingling, some were super-sensitive, some were thinner, some had flavors, etc. All of these of course were to be taken, along with the four pairs of fuzzy cuffs and one of his personal favorites: self-adhesive body tape. Flexible and stretchable like plastic for comfort, clung to itself like an ace bandage but didn't stick to the skin. Maybe that would be enough for now, until he had a chance to really talk to Belial about what he liked and what he wanted.
Once he was ready, or as ready as he would possibly be, he paced the entire length of the manor for at least two hours, fretting, waiting for sunset, checking himself in every mirror only to rush back to his room and change his shirt. He'd gone through tees, jumpers, V-necks, polos and many more, finally settling tentatively on the simple button-down. Easy access. But what color?? Was pink too girly? What about a light blue, it sort of matched his eyes. But it was too light for the evening, and so was this green. And that yellow too. He actually threw a fit over the fact that every one of his dress shirts was pastel. Love wasn't pastel! Love was rich, passionate, dark! Pink was the closest thing he had to suggestive. Maybe he'd play the b*tch tonight. The noises he made while deciding on his outfit actually worried some of the passing servants.
He'd also gone through plenty of dress pants and khakis before deciding on jeans. Simple and familiar. And belts were an entirely different story. First it was whether or not to wear one. On the one hand, he had some really nice ones. On the other, what if Belial wanted to get right into it? It would slow them down. And did the belt look good with these jeans, or those jeans? Maybe go with some snug jeans, without a belt. Or what about some loose jeans, with some wiggle room for hands and foreplay?
And then those kept looking too informal. But was informal good? Did he want to impress or would he just look overdressed? Would casual insult Belial? The mara had style, should Reikas also class it up? Loose jeans, a pink button-up, leather jacket. Was the button-up too dressy? It was really quite silly, but he wasn't close enough friends with anyone in the manor to have a fellow servant to consult with or tell him to calm down and stop acting like he was meeting the Queen for a football game.
And then came the biggest problem. How the hell did he get the "items" to Belial's house without looking like he had a purse? The duffel bag was too big for the reduced amount of things he was bringing, and anyways it was still holding what was left behind. This thought didn't even occur to him until he was five minutes from leaving, so scouring the kitchens for a plastic grocery bag that was sufficiently opaque made him very irritable and quite late in his mind, although Belial hadn't actually specified a time.
On the verge of panicking, he hoofed it double-time out the door. He didn't tell anyone where he was going, which was a policy Irina didn't seem to mind too terribly. He would have asked for a ride, but he didn't want anyone to know where he was going and he'd never learned how to drive himself. At least he'd found one of those cloth reusable grocery bags for his toys though. Better than a cheap plastic one.
His heart pounded as he strode down the sidewalks toward his ultimate destination.
((Figure I'll give you guys one more post to orient yourselves, then arrive at the next one.))

Abby was still cooking when he heard the door open. Shaking his head to the verbal response, he continued to cook the chicken, making sure that it was fully cooked. Half cooked chicken wasn’t safe to eat. He may not be able to contract food poisoning the same way humans did, but it didn’t mean it didn’t at least upset his stomach. He heard the mara’s silent footfalls heading toward the kitchen and could only smile faintly. It would be gone before Belial could see it, but it was still there.
Turning his head, he had a smile-less look about her face. The mara should be used to his constant changing facial expressions. It was a little unnerving to him since it had started thanks to Belial but this is the only state Belial knew about him. Since it hadn’t gone away or changed, Abby was starting to consider that it might be a permanent change to his character. He was about to answer Belial’s question when he started about inviting a friend over. Turning back to the stove, Abstynencja didn’t know if he should be happy or not. It was a good thing if it helped him heal and feed faster, but the way Belial said it. It sounded like he was just using Abby to get back at the friend of his.
It hurt him slightly that he would use him to get back at his friend. Just because sexual activities drained his energy and cause migraines and at worst blackouts didn’t mean that, it was a proper way to get back at someone. He wouldn’t say it but it stung a bit. “Oh yea, that’s fine. There should be enough food for all of us. And I’m sure it’ll make the feeding process faster.” Abstynencja knew that his new self would smile at this moment but he didn’t feel like doing so. Instead, he turned and tried to show a fake genuine Abby type smile but failed miserably. Showing emotions was new and hard for him to do and faking them didn’t work at all. “When will he be here?”

Belial had taken note of his friends ever changing expressions and just how he wasn’t used to showing them and it entertained him slightly. He was so please by the way his new friend had decided to change and try and show him affection, but he didn’t mind at all that he still wasn’t comfortable. He was smiling, still blowing rings with a subtle hint of a wheeze in his chest. The noise had been there for the past few days and although an annoying and rather painful sound, the mara usually tried to ignore it, he was sure illness would pass eventually whatever it was. With a small cough he removed the half smoke cigarette from his mouth and stared at it, suddenly feeling just what Abby felt about his comment and he couldn’t help but frown. “I just want you to get better... I still feel like an arse hole for what I’ve done to you.” He had gotten used to telling Abby how he felt out loud, because though Belial had a very open body language, he noticed the demon wasn’t great at reading him.
The food was a strange thing though. Abby had been in his house for a while and not only was Belial sure neither of them had seen each other eat, he was sure his fridge had been empty. Someone must have left him some food recently that he had forgotten. Either that or he had gone shopping in a very high state and removed the whole experience from his mind. He shook his head, finishing the very last few puffs from his cigarette and throwing it in his metal bin (which was already really rather full, he had to remember to take that out). “Not sure he eats... but he should be here soon. I think you’ll get on!” The mara seemed to have swallowed a few more feelings of guilt and began to look like an excited child, and there was no helping looking rather cute. He seemed to twitch and looked around his now rather elegant flat and started to feel how many feathers were dotted about the place. To the untrained eye you may not even notice them, but Belial was paranoid about them and he wanted to pluck himself to stop it all happening. There was a loud thud which made the mara jump half way in the air and a sudden burst of rage seemed to fall over him. “BLOODY NOISEY NERDS!” He yelled, staring up at the ceiling and shaking his fist at it. Belial was sure Abby would be used to his mood swings now and no longer tried to hide them, which he was so glad about. Those bloody boys upstairs had obviously been moving about and arguing a lot more lately.

Reikas was actually slightly winded by the time he got to the address Belial had given him. The walk had been about half an hour or so, but he had spent the past several days waiting on Belial rather than keeping himself fed. The difference was really barely noticeable physically, it was the between a guy who was generally athletic and a guy who'd just come from a weightlifting session at the gym. But it was enough to strip him of some endurance, especially when he was power-walking for thirty minutes.
He hovered outside uncertainly, deciding to catch his breath before knocking. His stomach was full of butterflies, and he stuffed his free hand in his pocket to hide its visible trembling. His whole body was a live wire of energy; he needed to calm down or Belial would just laugh at him. He felt like a young teen about to lose his virginity, for heaven's sake!
Eventually, he lifted a hand and knocked loudly on the door, forcing himself to at least appear calm. Appearance was half the battle. Deep breaths helped. Just to see those eyes again, to hear that voice...He tried to sense any sort of happiness from within.
It worried him slightly that he couldn't.

He wasn’t sure how to respond to this comment. He knew that Belial wasn’t trying to kill him and genuinely wanted him to get better. He knew that he felt bad for what he’d done to the demon but it still hurt. It had scared him to such a point and caused physical ramifications that were taking time to heal. But it had changed Abby a bit. He felt more alive because of it. Shutting away emotions had been his only ways to avoid having any chance of intense feelings developing for anyone. It was his form of survival. He had to admit that it would have been nicer to go about it differently but he couldn’t change things now.
“You don’t have to feel bad about what you did Belial. I thought,” Sighing, he didn’t know how he was supposed to word this. It wasn’t as if he wanted a special relationship with the mara. It was just his first encounter and had thought that it meant something to him as well, even if just a tiny bit. Turning to face Belial, Abstynencja had no idea what emotion was splayed across his features. “I thought that it was a good thing. I don’t regret it.” Looking down, he turned back to the food and set it in a dish that was on the counter.
Turning the noodles up a bit more on the stove, he walked toward the door without realising what he was doing. He wasn’t thinking about the fact that this wasn’t his home or that the person at the door would most likely be Belial’s friend. He was too consumed with emotions he’d never wanted to experience before. Opening the door, he came face to face with another man and finally realised what was going to happen and how awkward this may be.
“Hello, he’s . . . he’s inside,” stepping away from the door he turned back to the kitchen, his hands were fidgeting and he felt weak again. His head started to spin but he suppressed it. Now wasn’t the time. Abby went straight to the stove, took the noodles off and strained them in the sink. Abstynencja didn’t want to intrude on their intimacy. Belial shouldn’t have to use his friends to feed his mistake.

Belial couldn’t win in this argument, or... confrontation, well whatever it was his mood had shifted far too much to know he couldn’t win. He was going to feel horrid for the next few seconds and just as he was about to open his mouth to say something in return the door knocked and he blinked. For a split second he completely forgot what was going on and with a strange noise he watched as Abby went to open the door. He panicked, knowing all too well who it would be and his wings spread out hitting the wall either side of him and knocking a painting so it tilted with a strange curse. He felt a little worried now, but he pushed it all down and shook his head, heading towards the door and his friend who awaiting there and a smile spread across his face. “Reikas! Welcome to my home, please come in!” He made sure he tucked his wings back in so that the man had room to enter his home before he hugged him tightly, embracing him as a friend.
He could feel just how upset Abby was but he was really hoping it would pass, he wanted them all to be friends, and more so, he wanted them all to be useful to one another. He hadn’t just invited Reikas around for the sake of Abby feeding, he had wanted him there for company anyway, to introduce them; but it turned out Belial really wasn’t very good with people at the moment, and after such a long time on this earth he mentally kicked himself, really wishing he was better, or at least know better. “Reikas this is Abstynencja , Abstynencja this is Reikas!” He then ran over to Abby and gave him and equally as friendly hug, to try and make up for his earlier idiocy. If hugs meant to either of them what they meant to Belial it might make everyone feel a little better; and it would certainly give the mara a chance to run away from Reikas and gauge his reaction to this company he hadn’t expected.

Reikas put on his biggest friendly smile as the door opened. As much as he wanted to immediately locate the nearest level surface and tackle Belial down onto it, he had to at least be civil until all of him was inside the flat and the door was closed. Turns out, this decision ended up preventing what could have been a horribly embarrassing event, as the man who opened the door...was not Belial.
He was a stranger. For a brief moment, Reikas thought he had the wrong house, but this man seemed to know why he was here. The stranger retreated inside as soon as the door was opened, and Reikas heard Belial's voice from within. The mara's appearance came next, and for a moment Reikas was treated to the strikingly amusing sight of a pale-skinned, red-eyed nightmare acting as warm host and greeter. Time and absence had softened his memory of the mara quite a bit. At the invitation he smiled, stepped inside, and returned the embrace, but his attention returned to the stranger as soon as his face was past Belial's. His hug was tight but chaste, his hands remaining well above any forbidden zones. Belial hadn't mentioned a housemate. Was this the secret? Had he picked up someone to help pay the rent? Belial hadn't mentioned to Reikas that they weren't going to have fun this evening...
And then something delicious occurred to him. Maybe they still were. A threesome? His expression transformed immediately from confusion to appraisal as he released Belial but kept his eyes on the other man. Was this what the mara had been waiting to bring him over for? Was this a party? He was certainly an attractive man, this..."Abstynencja." Reikas could share.
He repeated the name to get it down right. It sounded...foreign, and it was just good table manners to know what name to call out in the heat of the moment. "Abstynen...cja." It was a bit clumsy on his lips, but it was there. He offered a friendly smile and closed the door behind him as Belial bounded off. He set down his bag beside the door frame without making a fuss of it.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," he said, noting that the man seemed rather put-off. He hadn't offered a handshake or introduced himself at all. As the two embraced, Reikas turned his attention to the rest of the flat. He wondered what had happened between the two men. Maybe Belial had promised Abstynencja the same thing he'd promised Reikas, and the proposed threesome wasn't sitting as well with him. What a pity. He'd have to change that, because if he remembered correctly, Belial might be hard-pressed to.
"So how do you two know each other?" he asked lightly, making his way over to a couch. He smelled food as soon as he took a few streps and realized someone had been cooking. He hoped he wasn't expected to eat. Politely refusing food was always a bit tricky to explain, and he wasn't sure if he wanted to reveal to this stranger that he didn't eat at all.
He was a bit slow on the uptake, but he smiled to himself as he realized the order of introductions. Belial might not have meant it, but high societal customs dictated that he had judged Reikas to be the more important of the two men. The lower class of the two was always the one introduced first, and though Reikas had been addressed first, it was to introduce Abstynencja to him. He only knew these things because of his slave status and his age; he'd been punished severely before for accidentally introducing people in the wrong order once. Never happened again. This pleased him very much; he never had this honor, and he didn't bother hiding his happiness. He knew it would help Belial combat the moods of his friend, too, and maybe this friend or flatmate was also an associative empath. He sank down onto the couch to wait for them both to return to the front room and converse.

Abstynencja couldn’t believe how stupid he’d been. They had never spoken about a relationship or anything. How stupid he was to assume that just because Belial took not only his virginity but put him on the brink of death, that there would be any feelings. Of course he felt bad for what he’d done to Abby, it was because he practically killed the demon and did so by cheating on his ‘friend’. Abby may be new to most of this, but he knew that Reikas was Belial’s lover. As Belial approached him to give him a hug, Abby stood there not responding to the sign of affection. He didn’t want to say anything but this was his first real hug. He wanted to let Belial know but it would be wrong since Reikas was here. Who knows what they’ve done together.
Looking over to Reikas, he nodded his head, his accent thick as he hoped the man wouldn’t understand him. “Pleasure to meet you,” It would be better that way. If he didn’t understand him then it would give him a proper chance to leave without seeming rude. He walked back into the kitchen and set up the food on the counter in case someone wanted any of it. It didn’t matter to him if they ate it or not, the only reason he ate it was that feeding from abstinence couldn’t completely sustain him. “If you would like some stir-fry?” Taking his plate, preparing his portions and walking into the living room, he had to note a hint of superiority coming from Reikas. Was he jealous perhaps? Shaking his head, he pushed the idea away. Abstynencja had never felt anything before; there was no way to be able to see if it was jealousy. He wasn’t even able to convey his own feelings right, let alone read others’.
Looking over to Belial, he had to consider whether or not he should make the mara’s life hell tonight. The mad had been kind and offered his house for him to rest. However, after tonight’s revelations before Reikas arrived, he had to question whether he meant it because he was concerned or because he felt guilty. “He likes to say it as rape, but I don’t know the exact context of that word by English definition,—he paused shortly—“So I like to call it meaningless intercourse. And where did you two meet?” there was no spitefulness in his voice. No sarcasm or prejudice. Nothing. His voice was a solid monotone that didn’t waver or show any emotion. It was nice to be able to show no emotions again. Picking up his fork, he started to eat his chicken stir-fry.
Glancing between the two men, he had to admit that they would make a much nicer couple that he would. They were able to do so many things that could easily kill him. Of course, he was only Belial’s mistake. He had never intended to sleep with a man that would have so many repercussions. He was an idiot to think it had meant anything. And he had even allowed it to change his character. He had actually wanted to show emotions. What an idiot he’d been.

Belial made sure to close the door behind the other man and leaned again his wall instead of sitting down. He wasn't the type to sit down and chat and he wanted to be in a position where he could watch the two very closely, judge their reactions and work with them. This night wasn't exactly going as he had hoped it would though. Abby was obviously not pleased, putting on a thicker accent was nice to hear though (Belial had always been a fan of different accents) and Reikas was too pleased considering the situation and all the mixture of emotions was making the poor mara feel a little bit sick. This was only made worse when Abby decided to mention 'rape' and the mara literally slipped on the wall he lent on and almost fell to the floor. "Abstynencja!" He almost yelled in a perfect accent, feeling both anger and shame flood over him like there was no tomorrow. Was that what he'd been feeling angry/upset about? Did he think Belial didn't care? This night was truly not going the way he had wanted it.
Belial almost wanted to lock himself in his room again (which he had done only once since his new house guest had arrived), but for the sake of Reikas, he thought it best to try and calm himself down and in a low voice, which was directed at Abby he spoke. "Think I would have showed you more if it didn't mean anything?" And that seemed to be the end of his fowl mood, turning his attention back to his new guest. He tried to open his mouth again, but words failed him rather badly and with a cough and that horrid wheeze he closed it again. "Oh shite..." His confidence and his hopes for the night had died with that one swear word.

Hmmm, this friend of Belial's was straight off the harbors, wasn't he? That accent sounded East European for sure, but Reikas wasn't familiar enough with that area of the world to distinguish between regional speech. Did Belial speak his language? He hadn't yet, maybe in an attempt to keep Reikas included in the conversation. He politely refused the offer of food though it smelled good, but the next thing Abstynencja said--if Reikas heard it correctly--stopped the demon cold. Rape? He couldn't have heard that right, it must have been something else...But Reikas was pretty sure he heard the phrase 'meaningless intercourse' soon thereafter. His balloon of excitement rapidly deflated into concern and caution.
And then Belial didn't make it better. Well no, that was a lie, he did. At least he restored some slight normalcy to the situation. Showed him more? Just what the hell had gone on here?
The sickly wheeze attracted his attention quite sharply though. Here was something he could be properly concerned about.
"Belial, are...you okay?" he asked awkwardly, putting Abstynencja's question to him off for the moment since clearly these two had some unfinished business to discuss. "Do you need some water?" He half-rose to get some for the mara, ever the servant even when he was guest. He remembered smelling smoke on the man when he'd first embraced Belial, clearly his cigarettes weren't doing him any favors. And how recently had he fed?

Abstynencja looked at the mara as he shouted his name. What was wrong? Had he said something wrong? It was what their night meant to Belial, wasn’t it? He appreciated the fact that it had allowed him to experience more than what he had, but he believed Belial regretted that night. Not once had he mentioned that he was thankful or enjoyed his company. He had only mentioned the obvious about what their actions would make him feel. They had slowly become open, allowing their true personalities to show, but they had never thanked the other. Abby had told the mara that what had happened was okay with him, and yet he continued to apologise and bring it up as if he had raped the man. The only thing he knew that didn’t make it rape was the general knowledge that you can’t rape the willing.
Even with no emotions conveying across his face, it was obvious that the abstinence demon was struggling to understand the situation. He had interpreted that Belial had regretted having intercourse with him. He had thought that the mara apologised because he never intended to be passionate or intimate with him. Literally freezing as Belial stated that he wouldn’t have shown him more if it hadn’t meant anything, it only confused him further. He had never engaged in such acts because it could kill him. He had never allowed the chance for strong emotions to develop between him and another living being because it could lead to such acts. Belial had forced it on him at first but he became willing when kissing wasn’t as vile as he had imagined it would be. He had to admit that what happened in Belial’s house had been very intimate and he quite enjoyed it. But Belial had only told him that it felt good, which would be obvious, and apologised for what he did to him. What he had done was shown Abby how to feel and that it could be good and safe to do so.
Sitting on the couch, his fork resting on his plate and his hand still in mid-way of picking it up, the demon continued to struggle with the situation. Why would Belial continue to apologise if he had had feelings for the abstinence demon? Surely Belial knew that he had a hard time reading facial expressions and such. Wouldn’t he have realised that apologising constantly meant that he felt guilty and regretted it? Suddenly realising that he hadn’t analysed the situation correctly and that the mara had truly cared about Abby, a lone tear feel down his cheek.
This news dawned on him and he looked down to his plate. Now that he understood what truly happened, he felt horrible for what he said. He was despicable for saying such hateful things. He hadn’t said it with spite or anger. He had said it with no emotion at all, which was even worse. Abstynencja didn’t deserve Belial’s concern and care.
Upon hearing the hacking and wheezing cough, he looked over to the other two, realization clear in his eyes. Without realising, tears had already started to slowly make their way down his cheeks. He had to apologise. He had to do something to make things right. But how? A simple apology wouldn’t be enough, would it? Biting his nails for the first time in a long time, he felt nervous again. He hadn’t allowed himself to feel this way for a long time.
Clearing his throat and standing up immediately, he went to the kitchen and quickly filled a glass with water for Belial to drink. He was closer to the kitchen than Reikas anyways. He eyes were downcast as he held the glass out to the mara. “I’m sorry. I didn’t understand your feelings,” he bit his lip, allowing an awkward laugh to leave his person. Looking Belial in the eye, he gave one of his awkward smiles, although it was small. “I am fairly new to this. Please, accept my apology. I’m sorry to have ruined your evening.” It was odd in a way; he’d done exactly what his species was meant for. He had been a perfect ‘length-blocker’. He hoped that it could change though. He didn’t want any hard feelings to come between them because of it.

Belial was still coughing a little and his mind was still worrying about being a rapist, but the emotions in the room were really taking their tole on him. There was concern, confusion, embarrassment (he wasn't sure if that was them or him, could have been either at this point), regret and sadness. Ugh it was a horrid mix and it all started to leave a bitter taste in his mouth. He turned to look at Reikas, trying to put of a rather convincing brave face. "I'm fine Reikas, Honest." But to be honest, he wasn't sure if he was telling the truth. He had been too occupied by past memories and emotions to think about feeding today, so he was defiantly hungry; but at the same time he felt too sick to feed, which was very unlike the addict he was. His red eyes closed for a few more seconds as he caught a few shaky breaths and then they opened again, sweeping the room to locate Abby who's voice he had heard merely seconds ago.
Abby was crying? This would not go down well in the mara's book and he stumbled backwards a little into the wall, not expecting the glass of water to suddenly be so close to him. With a strange sort of emotion he took the water from the other man and just held the glass, as if it were empty and nodded a little. "Nothing's ruined... Just... Stop crying and... Reikas! Make things normal!" Belial really had no idea why he was turning to the happiness demon for a more normal grip on this reality. Perhaps the man made him feel happier usually so thought he might be able to do the same for Abby, gods he was hoping Reikas could work his magic. The mara was too busy trying to gain control over his body, his emotions and his mind but it seemed to be happening slower than ever. With a large gulp he looked down, the wheezing still there but not as mouth and the sick feeling in his stomach going down a little. Curses.
