1) WARNING: Peaceful Mayhem is a mature role-playing site. There will be content not appreciated by everyone. If you are not comfortable with such mature artistic themes, please do not join. There are many other fine dark fantasy sites out there. You are free to leave the site at any time if you become uncomfortable with the content. By joining the site, you understand that there is mature, artistic content.
2) Discrimination of any type is not tolerated anywhere on the site or on anything affiliated with the site. Period. You will be warned the first time and if it continues, banned without notice if I see or hear about it a second time.
3) Keep out of character drama off the site. Let’s be professional, adult roleplayers here people. If you have problems that you’d like to talk about, keep it to PM only please.
4) Posts need to be of good quality. Length is not an important factor, but give your partner enough to go off of. If quality becomes an issue, warnings will be given. After too many warnings, you will be banned.
5) The chat box is an out of character chat box not intended for role-playing. Please keep it that way.
6) No god-modding. No stealing characters / themes from others. No invincible characters.
7) All in-character posting should be in third person, past tense.
8) Photograph of your character is mandatory. It should be displayed in a 100x100 avi and/or in a signature no bigger than 350x500. If it stretches the page or is unnecessarily huge vertically, I’ll eat it
9) Your display name after you are accepted should be changed to your character’s name.
10) You can have as many characters as you want but one character per account. And please do not create a new Slave character if you have another created that is still 'Unowned'
11) Make your slaves realistic. Beatings hurt, usually. Starvation makes people weak. No amount of stubbornness or other personality trait will keep your human charrie immune to these things. On that note, all posts should be as realistic as possible.
12) Be as active as possible. If you know that you will only be able to post once every three weeks, I suggest you don't commit to this site. Joining any roleplaying site is a commitment to not only the administration, but also to the people you roleplay with. If you are going to be gone for awhile, you should post in the absence board. In addition, it is considered rude to berate someone to post. The requirement is one post per two weeks. If someone has not replied in two weeks, then inform me. This is an issue for the admin, not a member!
