King made sure that the door marked 'NO' in rather large clawed scratches was bolted shut, not knowing just how curious his new 'house guest' would be. He had bought Lora as a favor to Seamus and he was starting to regret it a little; strange feelings had swept over him when those two were together. King had felt jealous many times before, and had gotten angry even more, you could ask anyone who knew him well, but not like this, not this hurtful feeling. It didn't help his mood at the tiny white and black cat that he treasured to highly was acting off since being at the beach, angry and panicked, most unlike herself. He had tried many a thing to calm her down since they arrived home and nothing had seemed to work, so he sat with her, down on his favorite settee in his bedroom, letting her lay on his chest while stroking her behind the ear.
Though almost completely focused on the small cat, King's mind couldn't help but wonder. Tonight he would be on this settee, and Seaman and Lora would be in that horrid bed... together, this was not a pleasing thought, though he could barely argue with it. He had told Seamus he would never sleep in that bed, not after his past with it. He shivered slightly, thinking back and this made the small cat mew angrily. It was rare for her to be angry, especially at King and he frowned, feeling a bit sorry for himself. What he wouldn't give to be in her position right now, head on an attractive man's chest, having his hair stroked gently. "Luckily little bugger.." He chuckled lovingly, letting her calm down and curl up again.

Lora knew that her plan was working already. She could tell by King’s behaviour that she had stirred something inside him. She just hoped that it was his true feelings for Shay. Lora knew all too well, what broken hearts could do to a person, especially one of the seas. Their hearts were so different from land dwellers that it was a shame to see such a sight. It was painful, as her heart had broken the day she lost her mother and she still hasn’t recovered to this day. She didn’t want to see Seamus with a broken heart. So, as his ‘sister’, she would help the two get together.
Looking over to Seamus, she knew that he would be disturbed by King’s mood, but he shouldn’t go kissing up to him. He may be a lion and very proud of whom he is—as he should be—but he would need to learn humility to an extent. Maybe it was just because she didn’t know him well enough yet, but from what she saw, it was the fact that Shay kept trying to make him happy and win his heart, even when he’d done nothing wrong, that would get them nowhere with his feelings for the man.
She knew that Shay wasn’t allowed to show her the room with the ‘NO’ scratched into the wood, but that didn’t mean that she couldn’t ask about it, right? “Shay, you aren’t supposed to show me what’s in that room, but can you tell me? I’m tempted to try to peak in but I don’t want to anger King any more so.” she smiled to the boy, noticing the scale still attached to his face.

Shay sighed. He had no clue what was wrong with his master and it hurt him to not know how to help. Deciding it was best to give the man space he was in the bathroom running himself, an maybe lora. A warm bath to relax in. The bathroom of the mansion was practicully Seamus's second bedroom. He fall asleep in the room if King wasn't there to call him out.
" Sorry to tell you this Lora....But i've never been in that room either...What ever's in there is Masters secret to tell." He felt bad letting down Lora as he knew how curious such a puzzle for a sea creature is. But he honestly had no clue to what was in that room. And he wasn't going to risk breaking King's trust finding out.

King had just started to relax back into his settee when he heard the water running in the bathroom and it made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. Even the sound of so much of it made him feel a little nervous and it took several seconds for him to calm himself and remember he wasn't going to have to go near it, well, not near enough for the water to get on him, but certainly near enough to see what was going on. He was pleased with himself for a second, remembering how he had removed the locks on all the bathroom doors only a few days previous, mostly to help Iuri walk around the house freely, which made her feel a little more spoilt than usual, but party just in case he got the chance to see something good.
He gave a small sigh, removing the small cat from his chest and into his arms as he got up. He knew he was starting to get hungry, and that wasn't a good idea, not with two people in the house that could turned out to be victims. He held the little thing close as she still slept soundly and walked out of his room, looking slightly less annoyed than he had done earlier and into the kitchen. The fridge was still full of food from his shopping trip the other day and he couldn't help but help himself to a packet of stewing steak pieces. Though they were tough meat, and relatively hard to chew he enjoyed this, it gave him a chance to really get into it and as he sat, cat still in hand he listened in to the conversation his two 'servants' were having, about the horrid and mysterious door and he frowned. Why is it everyone wanted to go in a door that was forbidden, even friends who had come over and harassed him about it several times... How annoying.

Following Shay to the bathroom, she noted how large the bathtub was. It wasn’t as big as she would have liked, her tail would still have to hang over the side of the tub, but it would be big enough. King had said that he would going to buy them a pool and had seemed very determined to do so. She wouldn’t mind if he didn’t though, it wasn’t needed, as the beach hadn’t been that far away. Smiling to the boy, she wondered if the bath was for him, her, or to share. She wouldn’t mind sharing a bath with him, it was nothing more than a sibling act to her, and a way to help King realise and accept his feelings.
Nodding her head, she sighed. “That’s too bad. Because he’s scratched a large ‘no’ into it, he’s really brought this onto himself. If he had just locked the door, it wouldn’t be so bad. But because it’s clearly obvious that he’d kill us if we got in, it only makes us want to more.” She grinned to him. It was true. When you told someone not to do something, they wanted to do it even more. However, if you threatened them for doing something you told them not to do, they would do it no matter what to see what would happen.
“Are we sharing the bath or what? My tail is rather long after all, you might have to sit in my lap, or myself in yours,” she smirked to Shay, hoping to tease him a little more. Reaching forward, she pushed a strand of his hair behind his ear, showing the scale even more now. The light caught off the material, sending small, coloured lights around the room and highlighted his face. “Any idea what you want to wish for yet?” he wouldn’t have to make his wish now; he could wait for years to make the wish. It was just better to make the wish when you knew because you could risk losing the scale over such long periods.

Shay blushed and looked down. "well you can sit in my lap...." He blushed and squirmed slightly as he started to remove his shirt. Lucky he still had the swim shorts on. Climbing in he waiting for Lora to join him.
"I'm not sure yet..." He taught pondering. "Guess i will have to think about it..." he licked his lower lip as he pushed his head under the water for a brief moment to dampen his hair and gave a sigh of relief.

King scowled, hearing they would be sharing a bath with each other and he began to think how much he wished he had learned to like water, after all, he had two water creatures as servants and his best friend was obsessed... how on earth had his life turned out this way? He then looked down at himself, and the cat still asleep in his arms. He wondered how long they would be in the bath, and if he could get away with turning for an hour or so to look after his little Iuri properly; it would at least, take his mind off the two, and the jealousy would be no where near as bad in his feline form. He heard the comment about sitting on each others laps and that was the clincher for him, he would have to skulk off and become a lion, if only to make himself feel better, and clean himself.
Walking past the bathroom he gave a quick glance in, Seamus was already in the bath, and he couldn't see in well enough to see if he was naked, so with a huff he walked past quicker, almost running into his bedroom and closing the door half way shut before placing Iuri down. He removed the rest of his clothes and stretched, kneeling down slightly before he started, it would be easier this way. The sound of snapping bones, like the splintering of wood began to come from the man, and the stretching of skin. The pain filled him that he had started to get used to and with only a small groan he began to change. His hands started to grow sharper, fur sprouting over his whole body and in a matter of minutes he shivered, no longer a man but a beast. Iuri seemed to cheer up and this as she twirled herself around his very large paws mewing. King could only huff at this, and slump on the floor in a little pain.

Smiling, she had no qualms with sitting in his lap. Of course, to anyone walking past, it may look like an intimate moment between the two. Even with her tail hanging over the side of the tub, they had no idea how her species worked and could easily imagine that they were doing dirty things in the tub. However, she would never intend or act on anything like that with the boy. She wanted to let him know that she was considering him her brother and that she wanted to adopt him as her brother. Of course, this didn’t need any form of papers or freedom or anything—but if she did, then Shay would easily and quickly tell King that they were siblings and that her teasing wasn’t meant in an affectionate way. If Seamus told King that she didn’t have those kinds of feelings for the boy, then her plans would be ruined. For now, she would just have to wait to tell him her plans.
“Why thank you.” grinning, she climbed in after him, still not wearing underwear (since she hadn’t found hers while they were at the beach) and the rag dress over top, she climbed in on top of the boy. She shouldn’t be too heavy for him. Her tail did add a bit more weight to her body, but not much. Since Shay was sitting underneath him, he would surely feel the fizzing bubbles against his legs as hers transformed into a tail. Like at the beach, the bubbles consumed her body, her legs morphing together and her scales popping out. Shay hadn’t seen her change while at the beach; he had been getting his sunscreen on when she entered the water. However, now he would be able to see it perfectly. There small popping noise of her side fins popping out was the last of the transformation, her tail hanging lazily over the side of the tube.
Adjusting herself in Shay’s lap, she turned slightly so that she would be able to talk to him instead of facing forward in his lap and not making eye contact. She believed that making eye contact was how you let someone you were talking to know that you were paying attention and listening. Nodding her head, she thought back to her thinking on the beach. “You know, you could wish for a tail for a day. You know, be able to see the ocean for a day type thing. Sadly, the scale can’t give you a permanent tail, but you’d be able to breathe under the water, swim around, see the mer world.” She was just talking aloud, not insisting that he chose that to be his wish. Smirking, she knew the hook to get him to consider it more. She really wished that she could see him with his own tail. “If you word your wish properly, you might even be able to extend the wish so King could become a mer person in water as well. Though, getting him near let alone in the water would be hard.”
Lora smelt the change in the other part of the house. Her sense of smell was far better than Shay’s, so she had easily noticed that King had shifted forms. He smelled more, wild now.

He chuckled as she changed her tranformation tickled his skin in a strange but pleasent way. he giggled slightly and rested back with a content noise. This felt nice he wondered what it would be like with him sat in his amaster lap enjoying a nice hot soak.
He smiled imaging a day swimming with Lora in the sea. Maybe. He always wondered what it be like to have a tail. What colour would the scales be and the fins. He chuckled at the idea of king joining them. " Yeah right...the guy barely drinks water...let alone take a deep sea dive...sometimes...." He looked down disheartedly. " Why..did he buy me in the first place..... "

A content noise fell over the lion as he lay down, the small cat laying next to him happily rather than feeling angry as she had been doing. He started to growl, but only in a pleased way, licking the smaller cat affectionately. He was half listening to the conversation in the bathroom when he heard the giggle and it made his claws dig into the carpet a little, even in this state he was jealous. He wasn't too pleased with this but tried to calm his nerves by licking himself, he liked to be clean, and this was the only way he knew how without water. Luckily for Seamus he didn't hear the water comment, but he did hear the part about buying him, and it hurt a little.

Lora knew that King wouldn’t go in the water, even if he were given the ability to breathe under the water as well as swim. There would be no way he could drown in the water if he had the gills to breathe in the water. She hadn’t expected Shay to get so sad about him. Sure, it would be questionable why he would buy a water creature when he absolutely hates water, but she knew that he had feelings for Seamus.
How could she cheer him up about this? There wasn’t anything she could really say that he would believe. “Shay, I know that there is a reason why he bought you. It might not make sense to you, but it will eventually.” She reached around and hugged him, running her hands through his hair reassuringly. She felt bad for him. It wouldn’t make sense since King hates water.
“Shay, if you told him how you felt, maybe he would accept the wish part and he could enjoy the water? It might make you feel better about it. He may be afraid of the water, but it’ll help you understand why he bought you and him understand your love for water.” it was also because she wanted him to make that wish, but she knew that he wouldn’t without knowing if King was happy with it.

Shay shook his head. " I'm really glad he brought me....I'm really happy here.....If he returned my feelings it would be great but....as long as I can be close to him....I will be satifyied.." He said softly toying with the scale. Though part of him knew he was lieing to himself with the last statement.
He smiled to lora. " I'm sure he understands....he offered to buy us a pool after all... I don't want to push him past his comfort zone..."

King had been listening to all of this, and something about the way Seamus spoke made his stomach seize up a little. Many a time women and men had said they wanted to be with King, and each and every single time he never cared, leaving them as soon as the opportunity arrived, no, he had never been in a relationship before, and that's the way he liked it. But this statement from the boy made him feel different; and that, he didn't like. He continued to lick his own leg, the small cat by his paws continued to purr and he began to think of ways of distracting himself. He would go out later than night, find a party or two and forget about everything his two servants talked about while sharing some intimacy with a stranger or two.
He sighed, as best as a lion can sigh, and shook his mane before picking the small feline up in his mouth and jumping onto the settee, which creaked under such a large weight. Spreading himself out on it he placed the small cat down once again and closed his eyes, hoping he could fall asleep before they got out of the bath.

Lora felt bad for the boy; there was nothing that she could do to help him. The only thing that she could really do was help make King jealous to the point where he would tell Shay his feelings, but even then, it wasn’t enough. Until that point, Shay would continue to feel this way and it hurt her to know this. It was different when Seamus had no idea about his feelings and was in denial about them. However, now that he openly accepted and acknowledged them, it was a different matter. She would have to go about this in a way that wouldn’t hurt Shay.
Should she tell him her plan? If she did, he could very easily tell King when it plagued Shay too much. If she told him, he could also disagree with her plan and ask her not to do it. Either way, Shay wouldn’t approve of it, but Lora knew that it would have to happen because she knew King had feelings for the siren.
“He offered to buy the pool because the beach is too far away. He feels more comfortable if you were in a place less dangerous for you” She didn’t know if King would be able to hear what she was saying, but she didn’t care. Indulging the boy with a small tidbit of her knowledge of King’s feelings was what he needed now. “I know that King doesn’t like the fact that you’re so far out of his sight at the beach. So if buying a pool could help him feel better and allow you to swim, then he’d do it.” she was agreeing to his comment of King understanding his love for the water, but only to an extent. If he wanted to be with Shay completely, the man would have to accept the water himself. Shay is half water creature, and if King continued to shun the water, then in a sense, they could never fully be together.
“Don’t worry, you don’t have to make your wish today. The scale will come off at the end of today and then just place it somewhere you won’t forget and when you know your wish, you can make it. Now, do you need help washing or is this just to soak in?” grinning, she reached to Shay’s sides and started to tickle him a bit.

He nodded knowing he had a safe box to put it in. Before those evil finger brushed his sides causing him to laugh and squirm. " Ah Lora Stop!!!"
After a nice long soak and chat he got out drying off and shyly changing into a pair of pj's for the night and a night robe that made him look rather innocent and the white was clean and pure. He smiled to Lora. "Want me to get you any clothes?" He pondered for a moment. "I have some old shirts...or maybe Isabel left some."
