Before he even speaks, Audric has a dark, menacing presence. He is 6’2’’ in height with a slim, muscular build. His cold blue eyes are emphasized by his skin which is an unnaturally white color. Audric doesn’t walk; he glides. His feet seem to float noiselessly on the air. Usually he keeps his long blond hair tied up in a black ribbon but occasionally when at home he lets it fall down his back.
Audric isn’t one to try to blend in. He wears a dark rococo style of dress, typical of a renaissance Frenchman. He doesn’t have much taste for modern clothing. Audric’s appearance is always extremely neat and clean. One might describe it as sterile…never a hair or a button out of place.

Audric is the textbook case of a paranoid personality. His most important goal is survival and he uses his strength, allure and raw determination to accomplish it. He fully believes that the weak and/or moral minded individuals will die while the strong prevail. Natural selection at its best. Most killers, liars and other moral misfits tend to be untrustworthy of others and Audric is no exception. He knows the danger others are capable of because of his own ruthless actions and behaviors. Audric does what is necessary to survive; nothing more nothing less. If it means killing off a few beings who get in his way…well so be it.
Patience is not this vampire’s virtue. Audric despises waiting, inadequacy, waiting, insubordination, more waiting… Immortality did not cause him to lose a value of time. Audric would rather spend more money and effort to get something done right the first time. He values intelligence and competence in others.
Audric is quite self-aware and uses his good looks to his advantage. Some might call it vain, but he sees it as resourceful. He possesses the typical “if you’ve got it, flaunt it” personality. And when seduction doesn’t work, violence always seems to do the trick. Audric is not afraid to fight or even kill for what he wants or needs.
Though he doesn’t let his emotions rule him, Audric does in fact have them. In fact, emotions are very important to him. He uses his "gift" to read the emotions of others as a potential weapon or just out of curiosity. Underneath his rigid exterior lies a capability for him to sympathize or even care for others. But to get past his fear of death one must prove to be exceptionally loyal and devoted to him first.

Detailed History:
18th century France
Claude was a recently turned vampire with little control, no money and nowhere to go. He wandered aimlessly across the city of Paris searching for more of his own kind. Eventually he met a servant girl employed by a family of wealthy aristocratic vampires several miles away. Because of his prior military training and experience, Claude petitioned the family for a bodyguard position and they accepted.
It was not long before he became close to the Lord’s daughter, Marie. What started as friendship grew into something more. The lovers kept their affair alive for years by keeping it a secret from Marie’s father. Eventually though, their luck ran out. Marie was with child. After Audric was born, the Lord banished Claude and the baby from his land. Claude was forced to return to Paris and raise Audric alone. Neither ever saw Marie again.
For years they lived on the streets feeding mostly from prostitutes or vagrants who happened by. After time they were able to “consume” the right people and their income. Claude was able to secure a home and together father and son built a small trading business. Over the decades the business grew. They were able to avoid suspicion by keeping in the background and hiring humans to masquerade as their business proprietors during the day.
Today
After the recent fighting, the business turned from trading goods to trading slaves. Cristante’s became one of the most famous slave trainers and breeders in the world. Audric helps his father by training and acquiring new "products."
