Angels were born as angels, messengers between the world of the living and the world of the dead, watching over earth-bound beings by helping them in their everyday life and decision making. Angels cannot be seen by anything that lives on earth, human or supernatural.

An angel becomes fallen when it is kicked from the afterlife by a higher supernatural being, for becoming involved in any sinful activity, so committing any of the Seven deadly sins (wrath, pride, envy, gluttony, lust, greed, sloth.) The fallen angel's wings remain in-tact as a constant reminder of the sin which has forsaken them, they remain useful and but can be hidden.

Fallen angels are immortal, like vampires, for you cannot die twice. They have been banished to earth to repent for their mistakes until judgment day.

Overall Appearance: Eloa is a rather beautiful woman. With long, straight, black hair and sharp, pristine features, she's a bit older than one would expect for an angel. Her hair falls about halfway down her back and frames a long and narrow face. She has bright brown eyes that never miss a trick, and a warm, motherly smile when happy. She is never seen without makeup, and rarely without accompanying jewelry as well.

Standing only a few inches shy of six feet without shoes, she tends to tower over other women in stilettos. She has a very commanding aura about her, and often has a stern or severe, expectant look on her face. Often she has the effect of really pulling the best from those around her, and takes special care of her appearance.

Her wings are small and she keeps them tightly folded away beneath her clothing. She likes her business casual attire, opting for simple elegance in a wardrobe of classy blazers, button-downs, and close-fitting skirts that compliment her body line. She knows what looks good, and she wears it like a second skin.

Overall Personality: Eloa is exactly as in-control as she looks. She is shameless, powerful, and fearless when in her element, and rarely finds herself out of it. Naturally social, she's a big fan of talking about things trivial and important alike, and likes to keep up on current events and who the big names are in the various industries. Quite the gossip and a bit of a flirt at times, she's not afraid to play on the emotions of others to get what she wants, be it items or information.

She is also quite clever, and willing to listen to others. As an angel of compassion, she is very in-tune with the suffering of the world, and seeks to end it, whether that calls for grassroots movements against illegal fighting rings or just giving a starving child a piece of bread. Her own lack of need in the world allows her to focus entirely on others, and she enjoys helping others and making them smile.

Surprisingly for an angel, she has fallen out-of-touch with the traditional virtues of heaven, and is not ashamed of admitting to or acting on her lust, and she has slept with men of power to gain what she wants or needs. She knows every single one of her assets and isn't stingy with any of them.

Detailed History: Created as an angel to explain the afterlife and ease the transition of mortal souls to Heaven, Eloa was born filled with compassion and understanding for humans. As an angel with more direct contact with humans fresh from death, Eloa was much more world-savvy than most beings created in Heaven.

She is also a relatively recent angel, created to assist others in dealing with the increased traffic flow caused by the amount of innocents slaughtered during the demonic takeover. Her compassion and youth prevented her from properly hardening herself against the gruesome and unfair stories that every soul wanted to tell, and after too many years of this, she questioned God, asking Him why they couldn't help the humans before they were killed. Although it was explained to her the structure of the worlds and each beings' place in them, she was too driven by compassion to simply settle for this. She wished for change, and when she started convincing human souls to agree with her, God realized how much of a danger she was to the order of things and granted her wish, casting her down to Earth.

She has been here for many many years now, much longer than she was ever in Heaven, and has since established herself as the head of Lost Shepherd Foster Home that not only houses young children but is also staffed by escaped slaves. It is a very well-known foster home in Corpus Christi's slum area, and is respected by even the thugs and gangs that roam the area, who are sometimes enlisted to chase away known slavers prowling about. She often spends her time volunteering at other charities when she gets a moment or talking with big business about both funding Lost Shepherd and providing jobs for slaves who have been free for long enough to become legal citizens once again.
