Alek is short for a typical man. He has feminine features that confuse people of his actual gender, which he appreciates considering his physical problems. His lean nose and slim facial features give him that female look that is attractive, but also the structure of a strong man. His arms are average sized, with muscles that are not the size of watermelons, but decent enough to get work done. He is slim with wider hips and thighs, which he gets from his mother.

He is usually found in a wide range of clothing styles. He is usually found in whatever is given to him. He isn’t too fussy about what he is asked or told to wear as long as his lower half is covered. Alek prefers to dress comfortably rather than scantily, but that isn’t always an option for him. He likes to cut his hair and will have many different styles throughout the year, some of which make him look years younger than his actual age. People are often deceived by his age as he typically looks like an 18 year old. His favourite hairstyle is of moderate length. Just long enough that he can clip it back but not long enough for a pony tail.

Alek has issues with his body due to birth defects. Complications during his mother’s pregnancy with him have caused many things to happen to him during his life. Alek was born with both gender organs. Although he has ovaries and the main female organ, he doesn’t have a uterus. Instead, all of his male organs are completely working. This makes him consider himself a male although he doesn’t actually consider himself either. Alek was also born with a heart defect. He has a scar running down the middle of his chest from surgery.

Alek is a very timid man. He doesn’t even consider himself a man, nor a woman for that matter. Because of his problems and the fact that his parents abandoned him, Alek has very bad self-esteem issues. It is a good thing for masters that he has this problem because it makes him very obedient; however, it kills him inside. He wishes that there were a way to feel good about him, but doesn’t know if he is allowed to feel good about himself.

Although very quiet and reserved, Alek likes to be open and friendly after long periods spent developing a trust for someone. He isn’t the type to just cling to someone and be comfortable around him or her. Even with new masters, who he has been trained to obey, he feels uneasy around them. After the time is spent developing his trust, he will open up to that person. He may even go as far as to call them a friend, though he would never admit that openly—having never had one.

Alek is a very gentle and caring person. Even though he isn’t comfortable around people, he has a kind heart and a caring soul. He would help those around him because he feels guilty if he doesn’t. He knows that they may not like him or may even hurt him afterwards, but he would never leave someone injured or bleeding, no matter what they did to him or will do to him.

He doesn’t like to be a nuisance to people. He knows that being a nuisance or annoying may result in beatings from his current master(s). He will try not to get in anyone’s way or be a hassle to him or her but he doesn’t tend to vocalize it. He has also realised that by stating that he doesn’t want to be a hassle or cause too much trouble, may also become annoying to some and would result in a beating.

Detailed History: (Quality rather than Quantity)
His parents were having difficulties conceiving children and carrying them past the first trimester. After expensive fertility techniques, they were able to carry the baby past the first trimester. Even though the baby was able to be supported by Larissa’s body, it wasn’t enough to be able to carry Alek until the due date. Complications ran high and she went into labour almost 8 weeks premature.

His parents had been relieved that he had made it through the premature birth and was placed on a life support system to help him breath seeing as his lungs weren’t completely developed yet. It was also during this time that they found out that he had a heart defect because of his premature birth. Having surgery as soon as he was 6 months old and able to support himself off of the life support, they performed the surgery quite well, leaving only a simple scar from just below his collar bone to the bottom of his rib cage.

However, Oleg and Larissa’s joy at finally having a child came to an end when they found something that they hadn’t quite expected. Since Alek was born so premature, he was placed on life support most of the time since birth. They had yet to find out that Alek wasn’t a regular male child. They found out that he contained both sets of female and male organs. The fact that he didn’t have a uterus didn’t matter to his parents, it was still the fact that he had the extra opening and ovaries that bothered them. Being a strict religious family, they asked the church what to do and couldn’t stand to think of a solution.

In their eyes, Alek was an abomination. After talking it over, they decided to put Alek in an orphanage in Russia, at least 500 miles away from his birthplace of Moscow. It was a small town with a small amount of people living there. They felt that the distance was enough to not feel guilty about what they had done.

Alek was raised as a normal orphanage child. It was obvious that he had self-esteem issues as soon as the other children overheard the caretakers talking about Alek’s conditions. They would tease him constantly about it, leaving him in tears about what he was born with. It also didn’t help the fact that his parents hadn’t died, but left him there as well as the large, pale white scar that ran down his chest.

It wasn’t long before the beginning of the species war hit his area. It hit his orphanage hard. Vampires had taken over the area, having overthrown the human rule in the area. Other places around the world had started to see the power struggle but this was before the species teamed up to take down all of the human rule.

The caretakers at the orphanage were killed and replaced with vampires to train the children how to be a constant food source. They had intended to rule the whole of Russia, not yet knowing of what the future would hold. Part of their plan was to start a breeding farm. The process of it was excruciating on Alek as they branded all the children at the orphanage. With his already existent problems, he now had another scar to add to his list of issues.

After 6 years under the Vampire rule, he had been conditioned to be an almost perfect slave. He was obedient and honest, a hard worker that any master could be proud of. Until they tried to be intimate with him. It was then that the vampires that ‘owned’ him decided to ship him off and see if the problem could be fixed. It was at the time of the full out war, the species having banded together to take down human oppression and the vampires felt a kinship with their demon cousins. It was also at this time that his fear of demons was increased.

Passed from master to master, he eventually made it to the United states and is currently in Texas. Compared to the cold climate of Russia, his homeland, this place is unbearably hot and humid, something he hoped would be the least of his problems.

A previous and more confident Alek,

Alek sat, his pen tapping against the paper as he listened. Of course, he wasn’t very interested in the topic at discussion; not at the moment. This didn’t mean that he didn’t care about the Italians and what business they had with them currently. It just meant that he would rather be else where, doing something that caught more of his attention. His thoughts changed from the discussion of Italian products taking over their Russian market, to something a little less important. He should stop in tonight; hopefully stay the night at home. Nikolai was probably lonely. He was only 9 years-old after all. But it was around that age that he himself had been left home alone most nights. When your family was in the mafia, spending time with family members wasn’t exactly an option available to everyone. But Nik was only 9 and just because his parents had died, just as Alek’s had, didn’t mean that Nik had to be lonely. It wasn’t fair for Alek to leave him alone when he knew first hand just how lonely you can feel at that age.

He was brought from his musings as he heard a clatter of noise. He scoffed lightly, sitting up a bit in his chair. Of course it was an outrage; this didn’t mean that the man next to him had to make so much noise and a scene out of the issue. That’s why they were discussing it, because it was an outrage, one that would need to be solved for their business to continue. He would definitely go home to spend some time with Nik tonight. It would do both of them some good.

He looked around the room again, letting out a quiet sigh, catching a glance of Ivan. Of course he was the main man, but that wasn’t the reason that he was glancing at him; Ivan had been looking at him a lot during this meeting. He didn’t want to acknowledge it at first, brushing it aside; thinking, he must just have noticed how feminine and young Alek looks and thought it odd. But now he was starting to wonder why the boss would continue to stare at him, giving him glances and acknowledgement. Aleksandr hadn’t been attending the meetings before, only being promoted up the ranks not too long ago, but he had never received this much attention from the boss; and he had never expected to either.

He sat up, pretending to take a few brief notes from the meeting. It would be over soon; hopefully he would find out why he seemed to have caught Ivan’s attention, maybe he should just forget it. Some things were better left unknown.
