Ana saw a fluffy animal jump off the furniture as Nero called out something. She had no idea what the creature was but it was so cute. Apparently it's name was Topper. Ana was about to go chasing after it when she glanced back at Nero, she should probably stay with him instead of running off. Looking down to the shirt, she wondered why he would have such a large shirt, it was obvious that it was far to big for him. Taking the shirt, she wondered if the showering devices were similar to the ones in Forhith. They had to fill basins with water and when they pulled a metal slate, the water would come down. "Thank you sir. I'd like a shower if that's alright." Ana turned and headed down the hall where he told her the bathroom was located. She had found it and stood gaping in the door way. This was nothing like they had back home! It was so much bigger than she expected. And she didn't see any basin device. She did find the stall but she wondered where you put the water. Shrugging her shoulders, Anaria slid the rags to the floor and stepped into the stall. Looking at the water knobs, she turned it on to have water shooting at her from the walls. What was this? Trying to cover the water jets on the walls, Ana slipped, knocking the stall door open, allowing the water to flow out as it continued to pour down. She climbed back into the stall and took the soap, quickly washing herself while avoiding the wall jets before trying to turn it off. She found a towel and wrapped it around herself. She had made a mess. Now she bad to clean it up, but with what? She didn't see a mop anywhere. Should she ask Nero? "Um, Nero sir?"

Nero sat down on his couch, as Ana went into the bathroom for a shower. Topper quickly jumped onto his lap, Nero didn’t object and just scratched his gray coat. It had been a trying day for him. Anaria was a character, and he was hoping that things would calm down. She had only been his slave for about an hour, and already there was such a strange relationship between the two. It had moved fast and evolved into something that was so different than between him and any other ones of his slaves.
He knew he was going to have to distance himself. He really was. He was her master, and he couldn’t make her think otherwise, no matter what he felt. She was beautiful, and she was sweet. But he wasn’t going to be able to treat her like a delicate flower or a pet. He had to make sure that she did know her place. Though, he swore to himself, he would never be cross with her, and he would do his best to make sure she understood that whatever he felt towards her wasn’t going to change. It would just have to be reeled in. As a 200 year old vampire, reeling in emotions was something that was always going to come in handy. Whether it was to deny any fear or pain he may have felt, or deny something that was unwarranted or inappropriate.
He heard Ana call his name, and he hoped that everything was okay, he walked to the edge of the hallway and looked down to see Ana in a towel looking somewhat concerned. “Is everything okay?”

Ana hadn’t expected showers up top to be so surprising. It was a shower after all and they did have them in Forhith. She just didn’t expect this shower to shoot water at her from the walls. Why would you want water to shoot at you from the walls anyways? There couldn’t really be a convenient purpose for it anyways. However, it didn’t change the fact that she had made a mess of the bathroom. The marble tiles were covered in the puddle of water and she would just need to ask him where he kept his mop and everything would be cleaned up.
“I accidentally got water on the floor and was wondering if you had a mop so I could clean it up sir.” She didn’t look up at him, embarrassed to have made a mess on her first day with him. She was supposed to be helpful to him that was what he had bought her to do. If she was only a hassle to him, then he might return her or something. Anaria didn’t want that to happen. She liked Nero and she felt like this would be a good place for her. She could be happy here even if she couldn’t return to Forhith.
There was a blush on her face as she looked up at him briefly. “Sorry for making a mess sir. When I turned on the shower, water shot at me from the walls and surprised me and I fell out of the shower. But don’t worry sir, I will clean it up, I just, don’t know where you keep your mops.” Smiling to him, she suddenly realised that she was in only a towel in front of him. Her cheeks darkened as she bit her lip, her wings fluttering a bit. Her heart beat wildly at the thought. She should probably hide from him until she was dressed, but the mess was more important right now. Besides, her decency was covered and that was all that mattered.

Nero’s eyebrows shot up as she told him what had happened. Honestly, if it had been anyone else, he probably would have been really mad. However, it was an accident, and he wasn’t going to lose his temper over one mistake. He felt bad that he hadn’t warned her too. He should have thought about it more. “You fell? You’re okay right?” She didn’t look hurt, she just looked slightly embarrassed.
Nero shook his head and gave a small smile. “It’s okay though. I’ll get you a mop, Ana.” He went to his kitchen and fetched a mop from the closet. He walked back to where she was standing, in just a towel. He held out the mop for her, and gave her a warm smile, trying to make sure she realized it was okay to make a small mistake and he wasn’t mad. “Do your best but don’t worry if it doesn’t all come up. It’s just water.”

Ana didn't know whether he was angry or worried. He seemed to be thinking about something. As he asked if she was okay, she looked down at herself, back to her wings then back to him, smiling. "I'm alright sir, I didn't land on my wings." She wouldn't go into a long explanation about her wings being attached to her spinal cord at the moment as she still had a mess to clean up.
Smiling, she waited for him to return with the mop. He didn't seem angry with her which made her happy. She didn't want to anger him. She had done it already back in the trading rings, giving him permission for something that was above her rank. She didn't want to do that again. Taking the mop from him, noting the warm smile he gave her, Anaria nodded her head.
"Thank you sir." It seemed like he didn't really mind about the mess. She quickly turned around and started to mop up the water, rinsing the excess out into the shower's stall. It didn't take her long to finish. She placed the mop against the wall and picked up the large t-shirt that Nero had handed her earlier. Pulling it over her head, the material was light enough that it didn't strain her wings which were underneath. You could just see the tips of her wings from under the shirt's hem.
Anaria used the towel to wipe the area down so that it would be nice and dry now. Smiling to herself, she found a basket with dirty clothes and placed the towel inside. Poking her head out of the bathroom, she walked into the living room, looking for Topper. She really should be seeing to what Nero wanted and had bought her for, but that fuzzy creature looked so cute. She had no idea what it was either. "Topper?" Ana called out softly, not wanting to anger Nero for not attending to him first thing after cleaning up. Looking into the living room, she didn't see Nero but she didn't see Topper either. Ana hoped that he would understand her curiosity about the animal.
