Overall Appearance:
Sebastian is a very typical vampire; dark hair, captivating eyes and wirery frame. He spends a lot of time on his appearance, from the precise amount of gel used to spike his hair (not so little that it flops into his face, but not so much he looks constantly drenched) to expertly trimming his facial hair to get the rough and ready bad boy look. His appearance is very important to him, and he likes to look good wherever he goes, keeping up with the latest fashions, no matter how extravagant. Sebastian is not very intimidating in appearance, the fashionable clothes combined with the way he holds himself sometimes makes him seem very camp, which can cause people to underestimate him (especially those who don't realize he's a vampire.)
Sebastian's features are very sharp and defined, his chiseled jaw and feminine lips contrasting perfectly. His deep brown eyes are generally rather warm and inviting in social situations, however if caught at a bad time or in one of his "moods" his eyes can be his most threatening feature. Small glimmers of red can be seen in his iris when looked at from certain angles, though these only appeared after he was bitten.
[Personality]
Likes:
- The finer things in life, fine clothes, fine wine...fine young men...
- Dogs. He enjoys the companionship and love they offer, a like that transferred from his human life.
- Socializing. Sebastian is a natural social butterfly and is happiest when gossiping with a glass of wine.
- Fencing. Sebastian's only remotely manly interest. He fell in love with the sword fighting sport while watching old films, and has since become a dab hand with a foil.
- Scruffiness and disorder. His servants are expected to keep the house dust free at all times, as well as wearing a well-fitting uniform.
- Cats. Naturally, as a dog lover.
- Sickly-sweet smelling perfumes. They make Sebastian feel physically sick, so he tends to avoid those wearing them.
- Fencing or any other sword based activity.
- Talking to others
- Spotting the next fashion trend
- Strong, sickly smelling objects. His smell is his most refined sense.
- The thought that he will never tan, no matter how fashionable it is.
- Puppies and their tiny, adorable paws.
- A pretty face.
- Being left alone for long periods of time.
- Sunlight. Cliche, but true.
- Being so poor he'd have to wear second hand/out of fashion clothing.
- Flares coming back into fashion.
- He twirls a strand of hair with his index finger as he thinks.
- Very touchy feely with any social acquaintance.
- Fussy with appearances, so straightens people's ties/collars/ties their shoes properly out of force of habit.
Sebastian can be a very chatty, kind hearted gentleman, who enjoys nothing more than gossiping with his favourite servant over a glass of wine. His slaves, who are always referred to as servants by the Lord, are kept in good conditions, well fed and nicely dressed, another example of if you are good to Sebastian, he will return the favour. Nothing excites him more than an unopened, designer-labeled clothes box, and he tends to flirt with anything that moves.
However, there is a darker side to Sebastian's personality. Any servant who misbehaves gets thoroughly punished by Sebastian's own hand, to let them know where they stand. He can go through random mood swings, in which he becomes snappy and sometimes violent, regularly throwing breakable objects at concrete walls. He can be very irritable at times, and a stroppy brat at others.
The mood swings vary depending on what blood group his most recent feed was. Coincidental, any negative blood group causes a negative reaction in the vampire, B- causing the most violent. Positive blood groups have a more appealing effect, lightening Sebastian's mood and making him far more clingy.
However, Sebastian's attitude towards one thing never changes. Dogs. He's always very cuddly when around them, happy and giggly. He enjoys their company more than anything, and generally gets a new one every ten years or so. He named his current St Bernard Rufus, after his father. This was more to mock his Father's memory, rather than because he respected the man. Sebastian did not.

Detailed History:
Early life: Sebastian was born to a very well off family in London in 1838, right at the beginning at the Victorian era. He grew up surrounded by splendor and everything he could ever wish for. Sebastian's father inherited his wealth from his father, as well as a high-up position in a company company that produced newly invented light-sensitive paper, as well as other things. Sebastian didn't see his father much, nor his mother, who had a bit of an infidelity problem that his father refused to acknowledge. So he was raised by his flamboyant nanny, until he was sent away to boarding school at the age of 8. His mother died when Sebastian was 11, driving his father further into his work. Sebastian's family could afford to give Sebastian the best education money could buy, and he stayed at the school, which he hated, until he was 14, when he completed his education with top grades. He then rounded off his education in a finishing school until the age of 17, when his father died. Sebastian was forced to take his father's place in charge of the company, something that he has always resented his father for, joking that he "died on purpose" to force misery onto his only son. The only thing Sebastian looked forward to was his colourful parties, where after dinner his guests would partake in many different scandalous activities. The parties themselves were the talk of London.
That fateful night: On the evening of Sebastian's 27th birthday, he had two realizations. The first was that kissing men wasn't entirely as disgusting as he thought it would be (it was more enjoyable than kissing women, in his opinion) and the second was when a young man with a red tint in his eyes pulls you into an empty room and starts nibbling on your neck, you probably shouldn't just stand their like a helpless school girl, moaning and trying to undress him. In the end the vampire sunk his teeth into Sebastian's wrist, and the rest of the night was a blur to the young man. When he awoke the next morning, Sebastian found himself lying in a coffin curled up with the other vampire, feeling tired and weak. Oh, and with a strange thirst for fresh blood. When he tried to remove the lid from the coffin the nameless vampire stopped him, and told him to go back to sleep. Sebastian did as he was told, and got the explanation he requested when the sun went down that evening. He had been changed into a vampire.
Aftermath: The next 100 years flew by for Sebastian. Once he found out he was immortal there was no rush anymore, so he put a well educated man in charge of his father's company and went traveling. He ended up in Paris in the early 1920s, where he picked up a flare for fashion. When he returned home to London he invested some of his remaining inheritance into what he thought would be the next big fashion trend, which always paid off, building up a vast fortune of his own. He now lives in a large town house on the outskirts of London, close enough to go to the city to hunt for prey and the next fashion sensation. He stayed out of the physical side of the war on humanity, sending funds but not actually fighting himself. He still throws parties for other Lords or Masters nearby, addicted to socializing.
RP Example:
Sebastian was bored. He sat on the floor of his living room, stroking his now ever-so-slightly chubby St. Bernard, Rufus. This was a new age, he didn't have to hide what he was any longer, he could walk down the street with a spring in his step, dressed as extravagantly as he wished in pinks or purples, or even sea foam green. He could draw as much attention to himself as he wished, he could yell it from the rooftops and the people below just wouldn't give a damn. No, there were no secrets nowerdays, his "kind" could be as honest and open as they wished. Plus he didn't have to hide he was a vampire anymore, that was a bonus. He supposed.
Yet he didn't feel like going out tonight, so instead he got his favourite, well dressed servant to bring him a bottle of wine from his store, as well as a donor bag of B+ type blood.
Sebastian moved onto the sofa and poured some of the blood into the wine, something he did regularly, then sipped it, musing over whatever popped into his head. He thought about his servants, and whether it was time to update their uniforms. They currently wore lilac coloured shirts with the same colour pinned striped black trousers. He wanted to improve the look, maybe by adding a stylish black waistcoat with matching lilac embellishments, or maybe a nice hat. Or both! He smiled at that prospect, knowing he would have to take them all shopping soon to see what suit them all, and to have the new waistcoats tailored. The shopping was his favourite part of choosing the new outfits. The servants weren't so thrilled by the prospect of being dragged into several designer stores by their elated owner, however they dare not complain, and Sebastian knew it.
He smirked to himself, downing the last of his blood-tinted wine. The next few days were going to be spectacular.
