Emilie is what many would call ‘the girl next door’. She appears to be very wholesome, and is typically defined as cute. She has very soft features, giving her a more angelic like quality. Her hair is golden blonde and faint waves cascade down her shoulders. Her eyes are the most striking feature—they are an icy blue, but sometimes look almost faintly purple at certain moments. Her skin is a light cream color, giving her a healthy looking glow. She can get some semblance of a tan if she is outside, but nothing really noticeable.
A lot of people have referred to her as ‘fun size’, since she is on the short side. She is not wonderfully endowed—but she does have a nice figure to match her small stature. She can usually be seen in an array of clothes, although she honestly prefers to walk around the house with just a comfortable t-shirt and panties. But, when she is in public, she usually has a casual dress on or a pair of skinny jeans. When working, she usually sticks to either business attire with a white lab coat, or scrubs. She does not usually like to get dolled up—she likes the idea of naturally beauty, since cosmetics tends to hide all the imperfections that make people interesting.

Emilie is a bleeding heart—She cares almost to an excessive point. She sort of likens herself to the modern day super hero —she wants to save everyone from melancholy, from pain. It doesn’t matter who you are, or what you’ve done—she can push that all aside to help you. It’s almost like second nature, patching people back together. She believes that everyone deserves a chance, that everyone has goodness in them, even if it’s buried quite deep. She also tends to be a bit awkward—there is no filter between her brain and her mouth. She can easily ramble on and on and spout of random facts—She’s basically a walking encyclopedia.
The dear girl is very trusting—she’d probably give you the clothes off her back and then some—and even when you hurt her, she’s always quick to forgive and forget. That’s probably because she wants people to like him, he doesn’t want to get attached and then lose someone. And, she knows that people make mistakes—history has proven that. So, they deserve a little benefit. Change does not happen overnight. Sometimes she can be almost a little too clingy—almost too much of a people pleaser, just because she doesn’t want to go throw the constant shuffle of relations. She has a very expressive face, so it’s hard for her to hide her emotions. And she absolutely hates it.
Emilie is very logical—everything to her can be made sense one way of another. She believes in all the sciences, and usually uses them to explain certain behaviors. She tends to favor her brain over her emotions, relying more in the definite than the less than concrete. And, she believes that emotions can be easily explained due to certain spots in the brain, and certain endorphins. When she is feeling a particular emotion, she will try and calm herself by stating what is happening biologically to her.
She is really nice, plain and simple. She may be logical, but she also knows how to switch it off and have a little fun. Well, when her nose isn’t buried in a book. Or glued to the television screen.
[History]
Father: Nathaniel Stark, human
Mother: Amelia Stark (lioness)
Sibling:Edmund Stark, older brother, human
Pet:Speedy, a pet turtle
Other:None
Detailed History:
It was just like Cinderella, expect Cinderella was a man. Amelia had spotted a very handsome, albeit dirty looking man in one of the cages—shackled and bound like an animal, looking rough around the edges. And she wanted to possess him, didn’t want anyone else to touch him. So, she bought him. And he spit on her the moment he saw her. It was love at first site. Amelia had always had a soft spot for slaves, finding it abominable that people did this to one another. So, she would usually buy slaves, and then offer them protection and freedom. Nathaniel was wary of her, and did not readily accept her proposal, thinking that she must have ulterior motives. He was a hard one to tame, but Amelia loved every minute of it. She did not beat, or belittle anyone. She merely asked for help. And Nathaniel, he came around, he came to see the true colors of such a beautiful woman, and he got down on one knee—not in the name of service, but in the name of love.
Mixed couples were something that was done, but rarely talked about. Many species found humans to be the scum of the earth, and therefore thought it was beneath them to breed with them. Amelia, being a protective and fierce lioness, would threaten, and kill, anyone who tried to intervene in her happiness.
Their first child, Edmund, was a handsome little boy, even if he did not possess the lycanthrope gene. That did not make him any less in their eyes. And then, Emilie was born. She was a beautiful baby, with golden hair like a halo. Nathaniel was unusually close to her, perhaps because she looked so fragile. And yet, the beautiful little girl could turn into a fearsome animal. Like mother, like daughter. She had shown the signs once she hit puberty—her moods swings had been worse than any normal teenager. And she got these awful joint pains, as though she had been plagued with arthritis. Her mother guided her through it all, and when she finally changed, it was excruciating. Her whole body wracked with pain, her bones felt like they were being repeatedly broken, and the sense of nausea was unbearable. And then she woke up, and the whole world was different—the whole world smelt different, felt different. It was completely amazing. She felt like the world had been made just for her. It never stopped being painful, but it was never as bad as the first time.
Emilie then went to school, retaining a normal life. All she wanted to be was a doctor, wanted to help people. Wanted to help all the creatures that she heard stories about. Her mother found her caring nature refreshing, something not many people had nowadays. Her father was livid—he didn’t think the people that enslaved him deserved to be saved, deserved her care. This caused tension, especially between Amelia and Nathaniel, although they would never say. They both seem to be on edge, but realized that Emilie was going to do what she wanted, and no one was going to stop her. She had always been exceptionally bright, almost as though she had a photographic memory. And who were they to say no, after everyone had said no to them so many years before?
She is now working at the Memorial Hospital, helping those in need. Sometimes she butts heads with the other staff, or perhaps tries too hard to change the opinions of others. But, she’s a hell of a doctor. And no one can say otherwise.
