Altair's human form is surprisingly handsome, despite his canine features. His masculine jawline, covered with a small amount of stubble compliments his famine lips and harsh eyes. He's not the tallest man and certainly not the most muscular, however his stare can be very intimidating. He is more of a social recluse than anything else, not really worried about others see him, so he can get a little scruffy. However, if forced, he will put the effort in to make himself look appealing.
When lounging around the house Altair normally wears very little, either a dressing gown and underwear or joggers and a t-shirt. He does pull a jumper or hoodie on to go out on everyday errands or for walks in public.
Altair's wolf form, like his human, is not the biggest. He's petite and blonde, with ears that look slightly too big for his head. The only remaining human feature is his bright blue eyes. His frame may not be big and bulky, but his slender, wiry muscles are good for running, and combined with his sharp teeth and strong jaw, make him a fantastic hunter.

- Chasing after rabbits or deers, even in human form.
- Sometimes just suddenly scratches behind his ear.
- Tends to make a mess when he eats, doesn't use cutlery.
Altair, though raised in Italy, does not embrace the happy, smiley, carefree Italian attitude to life, just like he does not take pride in his appearance. Although he does not care how others perceive him, he worries about all kinds of other things, and tends to think a lot while reading or just relaxing at home. He reflects on his youth and what the werewolf bite has done to his life, as well as more trivial things such as what to have for dinner. When in one of his thinking moods he tends to look a little distant, some people find this makes him rather unapproachable, as it is harder to grab his attention when hes like this.
A smile doesn't come easily to the young wolf, he takes everything so seriously that an almost constant frown in present on his face, darkening his handsome features.
His lack of social interaction tends to make him awkward when he does actually talk to people, he finds making friends difficult and finding a lover even harder, so has been single most of his life. However, once in a relationship he is utterly devoted to the other, canine loyalty as well as a need to protect influencing his actions.
Once Altair has gotten past the initial awkward barrier with a person, hes normally quite a good listener rather than a talker, preferring just to sit back and listen to people b*tch or rant rather than get involved, or talk about his own problems (if he has any.) He also tends to keep feelings/emotions bottled up, which may cause him to snap sometimes, but he rarely fully explodes, releasing any pent up frustrations.

Detailed History:
Early life: Altair was born in Venice. Italy in the late 1980's, to a working class family. He grew up in the beautiful city, enjoying and truly appreciating the fantastic scenery. He kept a journal through most of his childhood, in books given to him by his grandmother. Rugby was his favourite pass time when not in school, and he had a normal state education up until the age of 18, when his Mother died of cancer.
The move: After Altair's mother died, his Father was so grief stricken that he quit his job, and moved himself and Altair to Corpus Christi, Texas for a new start. But, to Tino's surprise, moving did not help to mend his broken heart, and he ended up taking his own life a few months after Altair's 19th birthday, leaving his only son to fend for himself.
The bite: Altair was bitten on the first full moon after his Father died, when he was visiting his grave late one night. Altair was lost on what next to do with his life, so went to see if sitting by the graveside would give him any inspiration. Instead the young man found himself bitten, bleeding heavily and having to run to a friend of the family to patch him up. He thought nothing of the bite and just carried on with life as normal, finally deciding to live on his father's money until inspiration struck. Unexpectedly on the next full moon, Altair changed. He woke up the next morning in the middle of a forest, completely naked with a dead rabbit in his mouth.
Another shock: It took Altair a while to get used to the changes, but he finally come to terms with his new state a year after his first change. Life was finally looking up for the young wolf, when he woke from one change in a cold, dark cage just after his 22nd birthday. Dazed and confused, he began calling out, only to be punished by a man in a cheap suit. It was only then that Altair realized where he was, and that all of the rumors he'd dismissed about the black market slave trade were true....
RP Example:
Another day in the cage. Altair sighed to himself. He barely had room to breath, let alone change in this tiny thing. He tried to remain calm. Surely he wouldn't be left in here when the change took hold? Surely they knew it was full moon?
Altair's nose twitched anxiously, sniffing the air for any signs of the monsters keeping him here. Nothing. For the first time in years, maybe in his entire life, Altair started to panic. This was going to hurt like hell.
He pulled against his chains, making them bash the iron bars surrounding him. He hoped he could make some noise, just enough to draw attention to himself, but not so much that he'd be thoroughly punished by the slave driver. That was the last thing he needed, tonight of all night.
Suddenly he heard a sound. Footsteps. Altair looked in the direction of the paces, bright blue eyes full of hope. They had to do something for him. They couldn't just let him change in here. They just couldn't.
"S..sir....I..its full moon....sir...." Altair pleaded, trying to keep his voice as level as possible. The other man grunted and brought his cane crashing down on Altair's head, then waddled back to his post guarding the once-thriving warehouse.
Then he felt it coming. Altair's heart began to race, half in panic and fear, half to cope with the shifting bone structure. He panted as bones began to break and reform in a more canine structure, bringing with it a vast amount of pain. This was it. There was no stopping it now. With his last human thought he prayed that he could escape this place, break his bonds and run for the hills.
A few seconds later, as the change was in its final stages, a loud, echoing howl pierced the air, as the pain became too much for Altair to handle.
