Decimus noticed his new slave trying to take in everything as they moved, and was rather pleased- she paid attention to her surroundings, always a good trait for a bodyguard. At her question he shook his head, gesturing down the hall. "You may take your time in finding a room later. I'll show you my room next, and my hoard. This way." He turned and started down the hall, following it nearly halfway across the house. They passed other slaves hard at work, but the closer the got to his room the less activity could be seen- his room was the only one in the area.
"You may come here if you need to talk to me or have a problem that the other slaves cannot help you with, but that will be rare. You'll have to knock though, I tend to keep the door locked... And no one is allowed in here when I am not here." He pulled out a key as he spoke, unlocking the door and pulling it open, flicking on the lights as he walked in.
'Room' had been a bit of an understatement when it came to his private living quarters; he had more than one. The first room was lined with bookcases that contained a variety of oddities other than books. The bookcases gave way to a large fireplace on the other end of the room, and the couch in front of it looked well used and far more battered than any other furniture in the house. "My bedroom is to the left, but there's no need to show you that," he said as he made for the right side of the room, towards the second door. It was a lot sturdier than the other doors, a solid block of metal with no apparent handle until the dragon pulled open a compartment in the wall, revealing a digital pad. He tapped it before placing his hand on it, and after a moment there was an audible 'click' as he pulled away, pushing the door until it swung open to reveal another large room. This one, however, was quite packed.
His hoard was rather like the stereotype, a large unorganized mound that spilled out across the room. Decimus seemed to know the mess well though, gesturing her to follow him in as he picked his way along the edges. "It's a bit harder to navigate in this form, but we'll manage... Ah, here we go." His words ended in a purr as he stopped in front of a chest, prying it open. It was full of different gems of assorted sizes, and he gave her a light smirk, lifting one shoulder in a shrug. "My snack box, when I don't feel like digging. Use them however you wish."
